Humble was hooked for being an idiot in defence, but Iosefa struggled with the pace of the game and was off-side all game. He may improve after a few weeks, but with Robbie only being absent for 1 more game (touch wood), how is he going to find the lungs?

PAT POLITONI is the answer!!!

We need someone to provide quality, quick ball to our play makers.

Humble threw at least three forward passes in the first half (only one was picked up) and Iosefa isn't much better.
We have got that person: he's called Robbie Farah. We're talking about a backup to an 80 minute player here - what do you expect, Cameron Smith?
Perfectly summed up 2041
Is it that hard to throw a clean ball onto the chest or the first receiver?

Surely not.

Not expecting Smith or Farah just someone to provide good service.

HT, this is what I see as the problem with make-shift DH's.

The dummy half isnt supposed to throw the ball onto the chest. The dummy half is supposed to throw the ball out in front or wide (never short as this turns the reciever). Its a timely practise and the good ones can also throw it in the 'right spot' from the deck (speeding up the play the ball).

Humble's footwork seems fast when he is in there, but he isnt putting the ball in the right position. Watch how much room the first reciever has when Politoni does this!

I prefer Iosefa. He 'runs onto the ball' (one hand pickups) which offers better service for the forwards running up and he's abit more creative and willing to take a chance.

Humble IMO is too stop start and only plays a conventional hooking role
