The win against the feed

How massive was that. Could have been a different result had we not have had that stroke of luck

Was shades of Heighington 2010. The ball was sitting right next to his foot for what seemed like an age

Whoever fed that scrum will be kicked out of the half backs union

How dare he stick it anywhere near the tunnel :rant

The lock is the only person who should see the ball when he looks behind his feet

How many weeks will he get for bringing the game into disrepute

ha ha.. it was funny! once in a game of reggies, my side somehow was without a half back, and so i fed the scrum. point is, having played afl all my life (was about my 5th ever game of league - but watched league from 8) even i knew to just roll it to the second row!

btw, i just grabbed it out of the scrum and was tackled in about 0.3 seconds!

Steve Mortimer would have been livid if he was watching.

apart from opening up the rest of the field, it was nice to see a scrum that actually meant something!

The only way to win a scrum against the feed these days is if the half feeds it poorly.

I think the commentators said it perfectly, it was less of a win against the feed and more a concession from Melbourne. Idiots.

The game is played so fast these days, the forwards take the scrum as a time to catch their breath, hence why no teams push. Plus, if you push and the ball comes out, you're not going to break that quickly, and if say the opposition EVER did that against us, you'd concede enormous metres because Benji is too good.

I thought it was a penalty to Melbourne as Props arent allowed to strike at the ball... Has this rule changed?
