I agree with the comment that we are not the team that we think we are. (or would like to be). I was hoping these words were not going to come up again this year but inconsistent and commitment seem to be rearing their heads again. Whilst it's becoming obvious we are concentrating on being more patient with the ball and or completion rates at times are almost perfect, we then let ourselves down in other aspects of the game. We are a team that is unable to focus on more then 2 or 3 things at a time and don't seem to be able to play a complete game consistently. I think we need to just have to come to terms with the fact that we are not the team we all would like our Tigers to be. there are glimpses of controlled aggression but all to rare from our forwards, we are not intimidating to other packs, Benji is being patient with the ball in hand which is great to see but then not choosing his times correctly as to when to surprise the defence, our defence under the high ball is horrible, but then Moltzen will take a high ball, beat 3 players and get it out to the 40. Once again it's the heart attack tigers coming our way and we just don't know what game they are going to play week to week.

IMHO, if we struggle, Marshall often takes too much responsibility, he than tries to play risky and sometimes it pays off and sometimes doesn't.

PYMBLEPETE wrote:I think its a bit harsh to be blaming Sheens. He has quite rightly identified that the Roosters and Knights would be up for those games - but the players have not responded accordingly. It is hardly a surprise; we have seen the same from this team, particularly at this time of the year, over recent seasons. Even the ever enthusiastic Beau Ryan seemed to be down on enthusiasm last night.
I thought that Sheens was the coach of this side. Silly me.

If you can't blame him, who do you blame? The players? no doubt. Ok then. When there are no changes to the team that played the way they did, how about Sheens then?

Alright alright .... No need to take the moral high ground.
