That score flattered the blues - make no mistake, the Maroons were by far the better side.

Gasnier looked old and slow. Boyd dominated him.

Gasnier got owned by a bloke playing with 1 arm for 60 minutes last night, Tonga absolutely dominated him.

You people bagging him are absolutely mad. You know that he is now probably going to come out and score a hat trick on Sunday. He always kills us.

I might be imagining this, but I think I remember some stat that he has scored something like 18% of his tries against us?

you know who wrote:He was marked heavily by Darius Boyd who absolutely hammered him everytime he received the ball. NSW played good i thought.
Darius must have known that Gasnier never passes the ball to his winger, so knew that if he rushed up and left his opposite winger unmarked it wouldn't pose a threat.

Darius shut gasnier down last night, we have to do the same this weekend.

I think he was going to have a big game whether we bagged him or not Hybird . Hopefully we get some onto mark him who will get physical with him (Brown)and shake him up a bit . Also hope Sheens shows some of the footage of the game to the boys with some ideas .In Particular how Qld attacked Scott , Gasnier and Soward Whether we have the cattle to put the same pressure on that Qld applied is another matter though.

The only game he hasn't scored a try against us was the 05 semi, I believe.

Gas was a disappointment last night. Those 2 Boyd tackles undid what little positive work he did.

Both he and Morris had bad games.

However I would be reluctant to Change the side barring Injury.

That's what I'm afraid of, particularly with Moltzen defending against him.

Gasnier had no room to move, and props must go to Boyd for cutting down his time and space, but to suggest Gasnier is useless is a totally different story. Both (2) hits were basically similtaneous with Gasnier catching the ball and would of happened to any centre under the same circumstances. I'd tend to blame the passers rather then the ball receiver.

We're not saying he cant play the game, merely that he usually does not perform in rep fixtures.

i tend to agree stryker that he can go missing, nonetheless we are not a rep team nor a rep fixture so he is going to be hard to contain!
