Post by happy tiger » Fri 09 Sep, 2011 10:53 pm

My turning point was Benji kicking the sideline conversion of Beau's try
From there i felt very confident

Soward missed drop goal. They should have went in 16-18 up if they played with any kahunas and kept the pressure on.

Dragons going for a field goal first half. Gave me the impression they would put the attacking shoes away and grind. The tigers only had to complete and they would win, which of course they did.

First set of 6 in the second half actually. Tigers took the pace of their game up 2 gears, nearly scored and the Dragons looked rattled from then on.

Yep, agree. First couple of sets. The dragons weren't expecting us to keep backing ourselves. Happy days

Yeah TIger4ever if the Cowboys do beat Manly in Sydney I would go into that game extremely confident of kicking the little grubs butts for 1 Adam Blair
But I see what you mean though T4E

My turning point was when we almost scored before halftime, I seen good signs there and we went in heads up.

Yep. That was the point when both teams realised that we had the ability to win quite easily if we played even vaguely to potential.

Soon as we ran out for the 40th minute. Showed another level of committment and intensity and didn't let go. Woodsy was a man possessed.

I thought the turning point was obvious, halftime. When they came out in the second half they never looked like losing. They were a different side from the first set when they forced a drop out

Fulton bust on half time. Left doubt in their mind, and let us know we could break them. Second half was one way traffic.
