Sorry Dan

Won't be surprised if this isn't a smokescreen , even Ballin off the bench for 40 minutes might be an answer if we do have an issue
Way to rub it in Happy, I'm stuck in Perth for the next 2 years and you've got to bring up Captain Dan again
Sorry mate

Bit early to be planning for the next WT's move mate :(

Really don't see why some people have a problem with the club wanting to get some minutes in the legs of a player who's coming back from 2 serious injuries, rather than just throwing him straight in without playing a game for almost a year.

Some just let their bias blind them from reason i guess.

Ballin has to follow medical staff protocol, I'm cool with that and no point in giving him an undeserved hard time...

And so we have MM, who was signed for this very occasion. No world beater but would much rather he be wearing the 9 than ET or someone else playing out of position.

Let's just get on with it, I don't see what the fuss is about, this sort of thing happens.
Could be that some just like grinding axes.
I'll freely admit I have an axe to grind. The club signed a 32-year-old hooker with an ACL injury to hasten the exit of the incumbent. It doesn't matter what you think of Farah, that was a lousy signing. Anyone who claims to be surprised that Ballin is barely going to get on the field over the duration of a two year deal is either lying or stupid.
Hard to follow your logic with the word barely and the two years, as based on medical opinion the club rightly expected half a season on the field last year. The club has taken leaps and bounds in the medical and rehab areas over the past couple of years, so I trust their judgment.
Half a season is what Ballin would have played if he'd returned on schedule from the ACL injury he had already sustained and not missed another game. That's not an expectation, it's wishful thinking.

I'd be backing a half fit liddke to embarrass the has been. Farah switch will be as successful as benji's. mid season release to Huddersfield provided they pay for his personal latte maker to go with him

How does one get 'match fit' over a 4+ month off-season in which their are no games?
The same way every other player does. Hes been supposedly ready to play a few times now and not been able to. even if he gets fully fit i cant see it lasting long.

Is he actually going to go on the field tomorrow ?.??
Or is he just going to do a lap of honour so we can see what he looks like in a WTs jumper :D

The future is Liddle and Ballin is the past.

Tell us something we don't know.

Liddle needs more time in the lower grade, and then ease him in.
In the meantime we have Ballin for stability etc.

The only stability Ballin has brought to the club is in terms of employment of a rehab physiotherapist.

You would think people would want him to go well..I really don't see need to stick the boot constantly into our players and Coaching staff...sure criticise their performance when warranted but the relentless bagging of them is poor...you would think we were Dog supporters..fair dinkum...

Best of Luck tomorrow Matt...
Wests Tigers don't need a Coach.. The playing group has taken over..
