Probably because theres no easy games in the NRL....if they expect to win a loss is usually a given
I agree. That's why i think that if the other 15 clubs are not concerned about us then it can be an advantage.
Youre not making sense gal... your all over the shop..they'll be concerned the week the play us
I was replying to Happy's comment that the other 15 clubs would not be concerned with us. I think that can be an advantage.
That's all.
Oh sorry ...i thought you were replying to me, seeing as you quoted me.
Glad we cleared that up.

I reckon Josh Aloiai will be happy to be running off Reynolds' passes!

Well lets put it another way , they would far rather play the WT's twice in a season than have to play Melbourne or the Cowboys twice based on 2017

All I can say to some of you blokes is,the Wests Tigers will surprise many teams next season, they may not win every game, but teams will know they played us...its a new culture and attitude arising at Concorde..Ivan should mould a very good team from his squad and there is plenty of talent and experience amongst them..

Change had to happen. Ivan came in and gave the club
a clean out and influx of genuine NRL players.
Looking forward to seeing how they go. They won’t all work. I have my doubts about one or two but we have good depth and pressure on for every position.

Hopefully a more solid team that competes for every minute and no more blow outs like we had at the beginning of this season. And our F/A looks healthier
in Ivan we distrust

You can have a go at Reynolds lack of class, but nobody could take away from his infectious competitive attitude.
We can all think of more games in a season than not, where our boys have dropped their heads, slipped a few percent in quality and the game got away from us. Players like Reynolds can infect a squad, can turn that few percent drop around... dont think about Reynolds being 80% the player that Cronk is, think about him possibly lifting our team 3% via attitude when the chips are down. Across 16 other players thats a combined 48% lift.
God knows to this day we dont have the type of player that can do it alone, and to be fair I dont think Josh can either, but between him and ET, if they cannot make the others buy into a winning never say die attitude, nobody can.

How many current 5/8s in the NRL can say they won a SOO series with the blues.
He'll be a fan favourite .

Paul Kent on 360 tonight buying into the Tigers rebuild. Said He liked the ‘no hero’ roster and believes we can make the 8. As I’ve said before I’m sold on our buying philosophy- I’m more excited about the season starting than I have been for years.

I think I'm just happy about a potential change in culture at the club, it's been a long time coming. Just as long as everyone remains focused

I see a lot of similarities between this team and the team he put together at Penrith in 2014. He went into the market and signed seasoned first graders like Soward, Wallace, Kite and ET. They ended up going within one game of a gf. And they did it with an horrific injury toll. Cleary has shown that he can do well with this kind of team.

Lot of good in that Highlights reel...which is common for highlight reels but the thing for me that stands out is Reynolds competes on everything and never gives up on a play..

I believe this is why Cleary targeted him in recruitment..
Wests Tigers don't need a Coach.. The playing group has taken over..

I hope that Ivan gets rid of Josh's self-deprecating talk. Ivan needs to give Josh the confidence to step up to the next level of top players. I am looking forward to next year and seeing some of our big boys working with Josh.

We have needed someone like Reynolds at the club for years(Farah was closest). He detests losing and plays to the full limit of his ability at all times. There are definately better quality players in his position but he is a massive asset to the squad with his attitude

Doesn't hurt either that Reynolds knows how to kick a pressure FG... coz Brooks certainly does not.
