Corey Oates. Apparently not happy on the wing and wants to move to second row, but Benett is persisting with him there. Got the attributes to become a damaging edge backrower (exactly what we have been missing since Dwyer/Ellis). Would he be worth taking a gamble on?
Definitely

A million times yes
For sure! I mentioned getting him in the off season. However, I really wanted him here as a winger with his height and speed. I've never seen him play in the forwards, how does he go?

Watched replay of tigers v rorters. I know kev and probably brooks got a caining for their efforts. The very best halfback, cronk did absolute narda. Kevs opponent, lattrel did absolutely nothing. We played as a team of players that know that they are not super stars but more like a team that want to be super stars. I think today we take that mantle from the grubs billy and cam

Can someone please fill me in on the latest developments regarding Nathan Cleary. I thought that I'd been reading the latest comments on this thread but I don't get how the conclusion of him coming to the Tigers can be drawn. What's the new evidence. Obviously, if it's looking likely then it's very exciting......
Well both Nathan and Ivan are both on the Post Sunday Fox Rugby League Coverage tomorrow

Anything less than a 10 year contract announcement will be disappointing

Surely Mrs Cleary can put something in Nathan's Crunchy Nut Corn Flakes tomorrow morning ;)

A couple of great wins will help us lure a quality player or two
We have the money
Now who wants to come and play for us
Who wants to play under Ivan
I reckon there might be a Panther or two
Cleary is one
Would like Mansour
I think our forwards are good enough at this stage but if a quality back rower puts his hand up then why not
I think Ivan needs to re sign Masters
ASAP

I think Cleary will keep his powder dry re. any immediate plans for any new signings.
It would be rather disruptive at this stage and there is lot of untied talent in our lower grades to test out first.
We should be in no hurry.

Resigning Marsters ASAP should be our priority

If Cleary junior does sign with us we won’t too much money left after a few deserved upgrades.
I suppose Brooks $500k will help
If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said a faster horse

Agree, hopefully we can sort that out sooner rather than later.

Marsters won’t be going anywhere. Why would you want to go anywhere else atm?

Sorry Willow. I read this forum everyday and enjoy it and i post when i feel like i have something to say. I never swear or try to be obusive. One thing i have noticed is that you seem to be almost like a very disgruntled high school teacher. Telling everyone how to spell and which way to turn. Why do you do it?
Coz you spoil the fun that this forum is. 😁😁😁

Could you imagine if we instered Nathan Cleary into the side we have now... with the pack we’ve got and the outside backs who continue to dominate!

Halfback, Fullback, Winger, Center, Second Rower. That's what we need for the coming seasons. It's all about talent and attacking flair. It's very obvious that we lack it at the moment.

Yeah, sometimes, but someone has to keep things in order.

By the way, Kev didn't mark up against Latrell, Esan did and like others have said, we need to nail him down and I expect the process is in full swing.

Fullback I can agree on along with a second rower but I think we’re pretty stacked in regards to wingers and centres.

I fear with all this depth, we may not attract the talent we need.

There’s a spot at hooker that needs filling.

Maybe a top class second rower, but we’re good everywhere else this season.
