We wouldn't pay what the dogs are paying him.

Surely they would pay a fair chunk

Wonder if it's for this year or next

Not sure how I would feel about this. If only he left more quietly

If this is true, would the Tigers take him back? If so at what cost?

Out of the players who left, I would take Tedesco back. Not Woods after the way he left.

If it's true that he has asked for a release to join the tiger's you would think that he would've been in touch with IC 1st

But than again

If interchange drops to 6, Woods would be a huge asset.

He sure would. Unlike a lot of others I don't hate Woods, I think he's a good player. He's just a bit of an idiot.

What I'll say about Woods is he said some dumb dumb stuff last year, but this year seems to have pulled his head in a bit, and also cut his hair which helps.

Tedesco and Moses I still feel are being arrogant and talking up their club moves, but I don't really feel that way with Woodsey, he does look like he's doing it tough and feeling it tough.

No thanks.
Burnt his bridges.

And he doesn't fit into the 'team first' culture Ivan is creating.

His stats this season have been far better than years gone .. maybe it took a change in clubs to realise what his is meant to do on a footy field. He would make a great addition to our forward pack, gives us size both on the paddock and on the bench and would make the prop rotation a lot easier .. !!

If the doggies are really up against it, maybe they'll give us a two for the price of one offer, Woods and Klemmer.

Aaron Woods turned his back on the Tigers.
He was the Club Captain & "Face of the Club".
One of his reasons for leaving >>> “I want to play finals football. I am sick of watching — we haven’t made it in six years — the finals.”
Woods made his decision to bolt from Concord Oval & go to a "strong" club.
I wouldn't take Woods back for free.
He does not deserve the honour of wearing our Tigers jersey.
His Tigers legacy has been wiped forever.
Maybe that was a bit harsh. Woods' legacy probably equal to former Tiger great Braith Ana$ta.
Champs Sironen, Pearce & Blocker became Tigers legends. Gave their all in good & bad times. Stayed loyal.
As it stands Woods is a balding, very well paid has-been playing in a team going backwards.
Woods can take comfort that his new Bulldog fans will stick by him through all the bad times.

High profile players who left and want to come back can do just as much to attract other players as winning can.
