And please who would let Val Holmes go to make way for Barba when they dont need to???
They way he spoke about Holmes he is in their long term plans. Not buying that Flannagan is a coach who would let talent like that go.

And if barba ends up there whats that mean for val.

If he wants val then put him at full back.
Val is contracted to the Sharks he can play him where he thinks best - thats his job. He said in time he will be a great FB but at the moment he is a better winger.
Look there was nothing in that interview that mildly suggests the coach doesnt have Val in his future plans - he said they are a better team when he is on the field.
So if what you say is true Flannagan is doing a great job of keeping it under wraps.

I dont know if its true just saying its a bit fishy flanno talking about barba.
I hope it happens - but just cant see it
When and if it does, more than happy to cop a serve for being doubtful.

I find it funny that people say well Flannagan didn't let on that he wanted rid of Holmes - we of course he didn't even it was being annouced tommorrow he wouldn't let on because thats what professionalism and negotiation require. If you negotiating a release where price counts you don't go on TV and say he is a rubbish fullback because all of a sudden the other club goes well if he is that rubbish we will pay less
But in the same sentence you don't to wrap Valentine Holmes and then find out Round 2 Ben Barba had his 3rd failed drug test and Valentine Holmes wins the Wally Lewis medal in a winning SOO team , Dally M Fullback of the Year and wins the Clive Churchill medal in the Premiership winning side in 2019

Well we do , Sharkie fans would be baying for blood :D

You get my point , words can come back and bite a coaches butt

Flannagan is the same guy that traded Maloney to the Panthers for Moylan and didnt even have the decency to talk to Maloney about it.

Some people need to back up a bit and let this breathe.
Then came out this yesr saying he misses maloney.

No morals or decency what so ever.

Also was in charge during the peptides thing.
Its an opinion!

Spanning two years. Considering it originated with a big four focus it has progressed.

Yes my little girl and boy whilst already corrupted fans are potentially going to be the ball boy and ball girl in 2028. The Roosters are also circling (hey, money talks right).
Let's make the Tigers great again!

If I had to choose between Barba, Holmes and Mbye. Short term it would be Barba(1-2 years) but if I was looking at 3+ years it would be Holmes or Mbye.

All would add something instantly to the team but I feel like Barba is a risk and around his peak or just past it and the other are improving and could be anything with the coaching from 2 gun fullbacks Cleary and Hodgo.
Barba is already contracted to the Dogs for 2 years after this one. I think to make it worthwhile to him, we'd have to offer at least 3 years, maybe 4.
Barba or Mbye
Sorry, yes I meant MBye.

Ruined by poor coaching for too many years.
