The most interesting thing is the way Matt talks about the club and that Isaac Moses clearly doesn’t advise his clients against the Tigers. I think he may have been over stated in the reasoning for the treacherous 3s departure...

I think he plays a real important role in our team....I also don’t get the negativity, will not play for OZ, but will get picked for our mob every week and do a job
Important? Like as a role player?
Maybe. But I'm thoroughly unconvinced.
Unless he develops his game then the job he does is substandard so I sure hope he does not get picked for our mob every week at this stage.

#dontacceptmediocrity #noplodders
The guy can play at the line , he proved it last year in the game v The Sharks , it wasn't a fluke

Probably find Cleary asked him to shelve it until he has played more games and has more confidence

Good news for the Tigers and Eiso, well done to him - deserves the contract extension and upgrade.

The higher the score the more effective ploddering !

Hi Hobbo. What’s wrongness of head?
Hobbo has this weird reasoning that you have to be a pretty boy to play Rugby League and if your not pretty your a plodder

Why he rates Chee Kam so highly

Any chance we could get both the player's name and the team name spelled correctly in the thread title?

Without meaning to be pedantic these are very basic things to get right.

A good solid player, thought he was already contracted for next year - so a one year extension?

If he has more skills he should showcase them. No point keeping them in your back pocket.

My definition of plodder is a predictable forward who is slow, makes little yards and sets nothing up. If he can't tackle, he is the worst kind of plodder.

I think that as a forward in the modern game you can't just be a hard runner, you have to have a good offload. Without the threat of an offload you are predictable and one-dimensional. A plodder.

Look at Woods; he was never such a hard runner (he often backed into tackles), but that offload made him dangerous. He might have been soft at times, but couldn't be called a plodder really.

Exception to the rule are really explosive, hard to contain, front rowers that don't necessarily need an offload, like Taumololo, Boyd, Papalii, Bromwich, Waerea-Hargreaves, Packer, Scott. But, I don't think that even they can't get away with being too one-dimensional.
Some forwards are great offloaders and runners: Fifita, Burgess, Taupau (in spurts), Matulino, Gallen (he used to be anyway). These guys are special.

Eisenhuth isn't a hard runner and very rarely offloads.
Plod city. Population Eisenhuth.

That's not to say it can't be turned around. Gallen became a better forward. So did Tamou, Bromwich, Civonoceva, Sironen, Beetson. Heaps. Just run harder and develop your offload.
I'm a bit harsh on Huth, but I hope he turns it around and becomes the player many on here think he can be.
