A snippet in todays SMH that said Ciraldo was going to be relieved of his head coach duties in the next few days, also said Penrith have high hopes for him, and are sending him to the states for a fact finding mission.

Thats funny because he is just winding up a trip to the US. Maybe Gus will keep sending him back and forth with the hope that he doesn't come back.
You are right, I went and checked article again, as I read it early this morning, it does say "sent Ciraldo" not sending Ciraldo.
we all know they want IC for next season.. Just a matter of us finding a suitable replacement.

The club isn't going to make any announcements either way until they have all their ducks in a line

If it is Madge perhaps they are waiting until his NZ commitments are sorted

If it is Bennett maybe a three way financial deal has to be sorted including Bennett's successor at the Broncos

Either way we will know in about 3 weeks

I'd still be betting on Cleary coaching in 2019 , Bennett to Wests Tigers , Seibold to Brisbane and who cares who takes over Souths
Yes it will play out like this ...

You never have anything of value to add?

Do you think our club will come out on top here? I don't.
The CEO and admin are dead quiet.
The coach is dead quiet.
The players have no idea what's going onand of course we the fans have no idea.

Less than a month before pre season training and we already a mess for 2019.

I'm willing to bet we won't end up with Bennett or Madge.
We are just too disfunctional to attract anyone with any real talent.
Give all the doom and gloom a rest and WAIT.

:brick:
Wait for what? New coach in the middle of preseason training? Or let's do another JT moment and clear this all up around round 3 of the 2019 season.
This needs to be dealt with yesterday.
Well said matchball.
We are all in the dark as to what our clubs' plans are for 2019 and beyond but a betting man would say we are at very long odds of having a decent head coach in 2019. The "best" we are probably looking at is having Ivan here who would rather not be here. That is far from great.......
This whole situation is not of WT's doing, but history would suggest we are not going to come out of this mess in a good position. We have a track record of flopping around wallowing in the muck before we successfully extricate ourselves. That is probably the reason why some people are what others call "doom and gloom". I'd call them "realistic" instead.

This might be a silly thing to say but what about we sign Wayne Bennett for 2020 for three years and let him appoint a caretaker coach for 2019. You never know we might get Demetriou for a year. Not sold on Maguire.
Excellent idea
Hmm, what if Cleary decides to get nasty and insists on staying for 2020, if we force him to stay for 2019?
Shouldn't that post be in the just jokes thread
As do most of the recent posts in this thread.

TYGA could you please inform us of what the hell is going on or anyone because us tigers fans are fed up with whats been happening to our club and its getting really frustrating. If u do have anymore info could u let us know cos us fans are clueless as to whats going on because the club doent wants to inform its members of anything that's going on. Thanks and sorry if that came across as harsh. :sign:

the only thing that is harsh, is the silence coming from management.

At this stage i dont even care about the new coach, Just want Ivan to man up and this penrith 2019 thing confimed. Sick to death of people still holding out hope that its all some media beat up and that Ivan has done nothing wrong.

Lets get it out there so people can start to deal with it.
Its an opinion!

It will be good to be actually debating some facts instead of speculation. Every single thing I have read on the saga in the past 10days indicates Cleary is gone, but it’s all speculation. So it will be great to hear the club actually come out and tell us what’s happening.

Of course I respect the clubs silence if they have been knee deep in a delicate negotiation process, that may have included multiple clubs. Anyway it’s time to feed the punters some crumbs at least

Ivan just used us so he could coach his son. It was always about this.

Disgusting creature.
