The Bash Bench
Something like that. Those four are terrific and add so much to this side. They should be permanently our bench it's just a great balance.
Agreed, such great aggressiveness, they do the hard work and continue what the starters begin

awesome performance from bench..thought they sealed the win.....Ava, Sue and Gavet were outstanding. Surely Thompson's position must be under threat
Thompson was great. Gravet a week. Bring in Brown to continue the aggression.

Thompson... seriously... that bloke helped dominate, he stepped up for runs, and hit like a brick outhouse. I nevert saw what Potter did in the bloke, but he really stepped up and was a big part in tonights win.larrycorowa wrote:awesome performance from bench..thought they sealed the win.....Ava, Sue and Gavet were outstanding. Mentioned in the other mac thread how awesome the aggression and fearlessness was. A good crop (or is it cornrow) the tiges have there.Tigerdave wrote:heh they were very good, but will Gavet get suspended for that knee? not sure exactly what he was doing, kinda looked like George was hanging onto him
As for gavet well I think he'll get at least a couple for that even if no one got hit by it. Just the antithesis of what the game needs portrayed so he'll get an 'example' suspension.

FINALLY we have a pack of pigs that won't get rolled over and give as much, or better, than they get. Ava, Sue, KAPOW, Gavet, bodene, woodsy sauce and even Blair. There's a mean machine!!

The bench is playing very well. Plenty of enthusiasm and just brute strength. Definately aren't powderpuffs anymore.

Looked like Gavet was kneeing the arm that was holding on to him.

Yeh I'm sure he was. I'm just saying the judiciary will be harsh on him just because it looked bad.tigerbill wrote:Looked like Gavet was kneeing the arm that was holding on to him.
He can't have any accrued points or whatever the system is though, so maybe he can get off by accepting the equivalent of a spent sentence?
I'm not that au fait with the system...

Thompson has played one or two good games in two years. The guys on the bench are 2 for 2. Sue needs to come into the starting side surely.
The bench is great for sure, but Thompson also needs a wrap - he was everywhere tonight and last week as well. Coming along nicely in his second year with us, imo.
Sooner or later, next year has to be this year - Ricksen
Yeah, not sure what happened in the offseason and why he got that 12jersey in game one. But he's proved he deserves it so far! Been great this season.turnstyle wrote:Bodene has really surprised me this year. Last year he was hopeless but he has improved a lot so far.
