dead set some people are easily pleased, that was terrible, most teams will towel us up on that performance, JT on that effort is no better than Potter.Newtown wrote:We showed a lot of character, experience and maturity.Spartan117 wrote:Guy's
Haven't seen the game. But stumbled across the score
Was it as bad as i am assuming
1 point over the titanss that should be in turmoil
I expected. 20 point win
Assessment please
Were we crap. Were they excellent

It ended up on the white line....after clearly being more than an arms width short.Thats why Badger ruled "TRY" .Tigersman wrote:It ain't a double movement if it didn't touch the white line.innsaneink wrote:we got very lucky they didnt rule woods' ''try'' a double movement...which it clearly was...I think richards scored after that

Considering people were predicting we'd put 40 on them, the only good thing about it was the competition points.
No it didn't,his hand that was in front of the ball never made the line.innsaneink wrote:It ended up on the white line....after clearly being more than an arms width short.Thats why Badger ruled "TRY" .Tigersman wrote:It ain't a double movement if it didn't touch the white line.innsaneink wrote:we got very lucky they didnt rule woods' ''try'' a double movement...which it clearly was...I think richards scored after that
Go hard or go home
We were scrappy and ill disciplined, but we won and showed some ticker in defence,JT said don't expect miracles first few weeks, but we are heading in the right direction.
By around round 6 we should see some real improvement, and all the naysayers might just have to shut up for a while.
There was enough positives for me to feel we are improving, whilst not stoked about tonight,I am quitely confident we will have an ok year.

No it didn't, Daniel Mortimers hand came over the top at the end, made it look like the ball went forward.innsaneink wrote:It ended up on the line...we all saw it851 wrote:No it didn't,his hand that was in front of the ball never made the line.innsaneink wrote:It ended up on the white line....after clearly being more than an arms width short.Thats why Badger ruled "TRY" .Tigersman wrote: It ain't a double movement if it didn't touch the white line.

Double movement?
I think the rule book needs to be brought out.
Where was the promotion of the football?
If there was any movement, and it didnt look like there was, it was momentum.

Simona was excellent. He needs to keep that left centre spot. He has earned it

I think Simona is a gun. He looks dangerous all the time. We need to give him more opportunities.Nors05 wrote:Simona was excellent. He needs to keep that left centre spot. He has earned it
He did look good, but geez he always looks injured after being tackled.stevetiger wrote:I think Simona is a gun. He looks dangerous all the time. We need to give him more opportunities.Nors05 wrote:Simona was excellent. He needs to keep that left centre spot. He has earned it

O.K i just caught on this Thread , I don't mean to bring this subject back up But.......
Now please explain ?
I was at the Titans vs Tigers game , so i didn't hear the commentary on Fox or watched the replay of the game afterwards.
The Woods Try ? From what i saw at the game he ruled TRY and sent it to the Video Ref to check what ??? Now i'm guessing the ruling from the video Ref was that he was short ? cause he made us play the ball and if it was a Double Movement? Titans would of got the Penalty .
From the replay they showed at the game there is inconclusive evidence to over rule the opinion of the Ref on the field , how on Earth can the video Ref over rule the Ref on the Field when in his mind being a couple of metres away his deemed that a Try .
Please explain?

It depends who you talk to on this Forum, if you are Optimistic? it's because your delusional and need a reality check. If you are Pessimistic? Your accused of being a negative Nancy and to go and follow another Club.

Just like in any video review of a try FT; if the replay clearly shows that the referee's decision was in error. In this case it was crystal clear on replay -doesnt matter how far it was from - that Woods was short of the line.

The camera angle was shocking at the game
Have to be one of the worst grounds in that aspect
