I'd rather sign Sebastien Chabal.

It would be like taking your girlfriend back after she's slept around. Might be temping cos she's pretty hot but you gotta have some pride and move on.

Couldn’t have said it better LOL

String him along, then go in another direction.

What I'll say about Woods is he said some dumb dumb stuff last year, but this year seems to have pulled his head in a bit, and also cut his hair which helps.

Tedesco and Moses I still feel are being arrogant and talking up their club moves, but I don't really feel that way with Woodsey, he does look like he's doing it tough and feeling it tough.
Seriously?

I don't think the Tigers will take him back - just my opinion.
Oh yeah totally, that stupid hair just made it all so worse, all of the nonsense and then his stupid head on top of that.

Then he moved clubs and the new supporters hammered him for his ladies haircut with headband, then he gets some rubbish samurai job, then a week later embarrassed into the old school #4 all over.

You can have a stupid haircut when you are performing well, but if you aren't, then people start wondering what you are being such a lair for, if you can't play.

I would take him back but at our price and Dogs $ input. Dogs not liking his "Sharon Personality"
Playing better than Matulino at the moment, he had to carry the forward pack for years, not just while Packer was injured
Mats had one of his best games in years last night, more to come.

Tigers should offer him a back ended deal - tell him to stick it up his fat clacker.

He signed his contract with the Bulldogs.
He needs to fulfil his contractual obligations there at the Bulldogs, not at wests tigers.

This is exactly what we should do. Say we really want you back and let's work out an offer. Then talk around the issue and never really commit.

Our front row this year is significantly better than when we had Woods. He is not what you want in a prop forward and definitely not what we need.

We should be looking to spend money on quality players in key positions. I'd love to see us get Nathan Cleary but we should be looking for a right edge backrower and some outside backs.

As Paul Kent said, the problem is that they need clubs to want to pay the players they release otherwise there is no cap room.

I would Take Fatala-Mariner, Klemmer or maybe Rhys Martin over Woods.

He looks so unhappy on the field. Like he’s going through the motions.

Didn't sound unhappy in the after game interview with Freddy.

People just want to feel that he is unhappy imo.

The point is who cares whether he is or isn't - he isn't one our Tiger stalwarts.

Didn't he ask IC last year about staying and was told no? I just recall seeing something along those lines on here somewhere.
Yes this was written around the time he stated he didn’t know what was going on for 2018. It was obvious he wanted to stay. The word was Pascoe opened the door but Ivan shut it. BUT my source for this is this forum so???????!
He was never the sort of prop that would tear opposition forwards apart, But he did his job in defence and made plenty of ground with the ball.
A Taupau type , was needed with him
When Taupau was here ,Woodsie was free to do what he was good at, but after he left we had no mad prop, and he was left with bugger all back up from our packfrom then on.
