Hey guyofthetiger, "regret" is the language of all FPL players!
Haha indeed it is...

I made Aguero captain also. Mane would have been the way to go for me.

What’s up with Hazard? I’m 0.1 short of him to Sterling....

And so I brought Arnautovic back in last week on the bench given his upcoming fixtures...

Any news if that knoblet is playing or not?

Or Hazard? Time for Hazard to Sterling?

Game-week 14 is no more.
Well done everyone for the pleasing results so far.
Remember, we’re all winners – except sometimes we don’t just win a particular game-week.
Okie dokie, as things stand, the comp table now reads as follows:

Rank Team & Manager Wins Draws Losses Score Pts
1 Blanks United
10 0 3 782 30
2 ame can't aim
9 0 4 802 27
3 Laroche Lions
8 0 5 713 24
4 All About the Manè
8 0 5 706 24
5 Bon Vivant
8 0 5 684 24
6 Subang United
7 0 6 688 21
7 Minto Stingers
7 0 6 641 21
8 Fibro
6 0 7 694 18
9 Tranquilo
6 0 7 624 18
10 Happy's Hammers
5 0 8 646 15
11 Ethans Avengers
5 0 8 613 15
12 Mob Mentality
5 0 8 515 15
13 edmunds club
4 0 9 562 12
14 AVERAGE
3 0 10 658 9

The leader board shows little change with Blanks United maintaining its one match winning margin (ie 3 points) over the 2nd placed ame can’t aim, with a steady backlog of teams in close pozzies just below the top pair.

In this round’s closect margins, Fibro had a solitary point victory over an unlucky Ethans Avengers while Bon Vivant also came out on top in a close 2 point win over edmunds club.

(This is just some of the tussles which happen every game, of every week.)
All individual game results and fixture lists are clearly shown on the Barclay’s Premier League website - https://fantasy.premierleague.com/

Now there’s only 24 game-weeks to go.

But there are 2 leagues within the one, if you like:

(1) Try to get to the top – Hi Blanks United, we can see you!
(2) We each have to try and beat the player known as “Average.”

Remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint BUT it’s always better to be close to the pace.

A friendly reminder for everyone that teams need fixing before 6.45am tomorrow morning Sydney time, (ie Wednesday) - first game of Game-week 15 is AFC Bournemouth v. Huddersfield, and then the fun flurry carries over quick days in succession.

May the fantasy Gods carry you kindly in the epic days ahead!

Just as a tease, here's some quirky trivia:

Huddersfield have not won a midweek top-flight match (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday) since March 1971. They have drawn six and lost eight fixtures since then.

AFC Bournemouth are unbeaten in six home matches against Huddersfield Town in all competitions (W3 D3), since losing 1-0 in League One in August 2007.

Each of Brighton’s last seven Premier League victories have been by a one-goal margin. They last won by more in February, beating Swansea City 4-1.

Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha has scored five goals against Brighton in all competitions, more than against any other opponent.

West Ham have won their last six matches in all competitions against Cardiff, scoring 14 goals and conceding just two.

No PL team has won more matches after coming from behind this season than Cardiff, with all three of their victories coming in such a manner.

Watford are winless in their eight PL meetings with Man City and have lost the last six in a row.

Sergio Aguero (Man City) has scored 10 goals in six matches against Watford in all competitions, including a hat-trick in this fixture last term.

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last 16 PL matches played on a Wednesday (W11 D5), ever since a 3-1 loss at Stoke City on Boxing Day in 2012.

Burnley goalkeeper Joe Hart has conceded more PL goals against Liverpool than he has against any other side, with 33.

Everton have beaten Newcastle in eight of their last nine Premier League meetings and have won the last five clashes without conceding a single goal.

Newcastle haven not won a midweek PL match since December 2013, when they beat Stoke City 5-1. They have since drawn eight and lost nine of their matches played on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic has scored five goals in his last five PL home matches.

Jamie Vardy has scored a penalty in Leicester’s last two PL matches and could now become the sixth player to net from the spot in three consecutive appearances in the competition, after Ian Wright, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Michael Owen, Yohan Cabaye and Sergio Aguero.

Man Utd are unbeaten in their last 11 PL home matches against Arsenal, since a 1-0 loss in September 2006.

Arsenal have lost their last three midweek PL matches played on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Stuart Armstrong, who has scored three goals in his last two PL matches for Southampton, could now become the first player to score in three consecutive appearances for Saints in the competition since Manolo Gabbiadini in March 2017.

Dele Alli has had a hand in eight goals in five PL matches against Southampton, with five goals and three assists, more than he has against any other side.
