Post by joelw2002 » Sun 02 Dec, 2018 9:00 pm

I'm just curious to see your guys opinion on who you think is the fastest player in the NRL, so I created a poll with all of the NRL's speedsters to see who you guys think is the fastest player in the NRL.

JAC. No contest. There wouldn’t be many players over the last 20 years who were quicker. I’d back him to beat any of them.

over a hundred yards or metres? over 50? Cook may be champ over the short distance.
Malcolm Knox: What has happened this week is a pity for the Tigers, a pity for Jason Taylor and a pity for Robbie Farah, who had achieved more than the Big Four put together but was somehow turned into collateral damage. (SMH 25-26 March, 2017)

Depends how far the race is.

What happened to Gideon Gela-Mosby? Remember he was real quick on the wing for the Cowboys a year or two ago.

Wonder how JAC would compare with the late Ken Irvine.

Irvine ran 100 yards in 9.3 seconds in 1963 which became the world professional sprint record at the time.

100 yards is 91.44 meters, which at his pace means he would have ran 100 meters at around 10.2 seconds.

I doubt that JAC is that quick.

Irvine is the best winger I have ever seen - still holds the record for the most number of tries scored (212 tries in 236 games).
