I cant see us breaking the duck this week, i feel we will be battling to win too many games until we get all of our troops back, call me negative but the competiiton is so close that you need all your troops on the field to be competitive at least. I was thinking that we had a fiar chance and going closer than last year but with all of our injuries i feel as though we our season for 2011 has been derailed. Hopefully im wrong.

Amazing stat, just like the one about Benji never losing against Canberra (still going) and Benji never losing against Canterbury (came to an end last year). It's not like we have a zero chance of winning on Friday...

"Statistics are a record of the past, not a guarantee of the future."

I don't know who originally said it, but Sterlo quoted it a few years back and it's been my footy motto ever since.

It's no less true.

As an aside: What is it with Lawrence getting injured every time with approach State of Origin territory?

According to the stats I've seen, the Sheens coached Raiders flogged the Lang coached Sharks in 1994 in round 16.

Sheensie is due for another victory over Lang.

Friday night 9.30pm. Lang 17 - Sheens 2

Sheens needs to have 4 forwards on the bench.
