To the media outlet which out this together, honestly, how can you project the Minor Premiers to obtain 30.1 points this year? Point one? Round down, or up if you must, but have some sense whoever put this together.

I just think there’s something wrong with the way we talk about success. You see the Roosters and Robinson and Cam Smith and Bellamy all talking about their execution and focusing on consistency and refining their game or making less errors, and we’re always talking about the finals and making the finals and how this year we really have to step up and all of that. One is talking about details and things that can be controlled, the other talking about fluff. I’m sure sports psychologists would find a problem with that. Stop talking about the finals, which is 26 rounds away, and start talking about round 1, talk about playing properly, building a team. All this ‘Benji’s gone and I can play now’ rubbish is a little embarrassing for an experienced NRL halfback. He just sounds pretty soft and immature to be honest, and I’ve always liked him.

Good point watersider. As I’ve previously posted, it’s ok to have goals but let’s hear how you’re going to achieve them.

He needed to go from our club, living in the past got us nowhere.
Loved what excitement he brought to the game over the years, he was second to none in that regard.
Would be a shame for him to be part of a Rabbitohs premiership if he felt the need to completely ignore his time with us ala his media mates Ennis and Anasta, Fittler etc.

I think rather than the first picked - it is the player that you can’t win without in 2021.

I think that player is Jacob Liddle.

So who do we pick for the other 17 games

ouch. that hits in the feels

      Not at all…simples, we pick:

Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle, Jacob Liddle. Jacob Liddle.

      Easy!

      Hope your right Russ

Because if he doesn’t he needs to exit …stage right

Bankwest is a remakable venue, however it offers our club zero advantage.

IN TRUTH we have no home ground advantage for any games we play.

      Cough…Leichhardt

(I know the facilities like corporate stuff is substandard, but we do get a home ground vibe there)

Hasn’t recently translated into results though. So not much of an advantage.

Without trawling through stats (someone will if Im wrong), Leichhardt is our most successful ground (best win/loss) so that is an advantage. IF your team is somewhere between rubbish and average, no ground is going to translate to >50%. It is certainly (particularly in the members seats) the best atmosphere for fans and players.

Where abouts do you sit mate?

Last row before the fence in the “concourse” section, near 40m line south of tunnel.

Lol, you must be right near me, in the bay next to the player enclosure?

L or R side of tunnel, facing the playing field Cochise?

      Right side.

I usually stand at the fence on the concourse behind your bay. Depending on what time we get there (2 sons as well).

Im in the second back row, I’ve probably pushed past you heaps of times lol

You probably knocked me over a few times.

As I said to 5051, say hello if you see me. I’m the guy with the beard, you will know me when you see me lol

I’ve got a white mustache and goatee - sure you won’t miss me either Mate!

      Right,now that I got your descriptions,Im gunna stalk you 2 blokes…
Well it would be unfair if I didnt give you my description so you wouldnt be looking over your shoulders all the time…
TT…tall, dark, handsome with that movie star look and physique of the ‘ROCK’…and I will probably have a hot dog in one hand and a beer in the other…hahaha😁

Sorry just wanted to point out you made a spelling error …physique of a Sock you meant …didn’t you ??

Jealousy is a curse…just because your a sock head doesnt mean we all have the same traits…(sorry…sockheads)…hahaha😊 😊

Interesting, I just had a look at the page, not one NRL player has donated?

Interesting for sure, unless those players were the $20 anonymous donations.

But you’d think for an NRL player, on an attractive salary, $1000-$2000 donations wouldn’t put a dent into your life savings one bit

I’m thinking maybe they did it privately.

I think there is a massive amount of hype with this guy, but he has the world at his feet. If he wants to be a ****head and stuff about, he might find himself with a short career. Play to his ability, make some common sense decisions and be a leader, he could name his asking price in future.

      What will it be?

Are you talking about Joe, or Jimmy the Jet?

I thought Joe was relatively a clean skin

      Joe O.

As I understand, he isn’t exactly the easiest person to get along with and has a real chip on his shoulder. Drags the feet a bit when things don’t go his way I’m told.

Lets put it this way …most blokes wouldn’t be found drunk in a car asleep not long after his wife has been found out with cancer

      So what?

Who are you to judge. He obviously had some serious issues to deal with.

I’d probably get drunk if I found out my Mrs had cancer.

Yeah but most of us would find a way home …not leaving your wife with kid to worry about where you were etc

      But that’s me …I give a poo

You’re making a few assumptions there

      Not about myself I’m not

To where he was to where he got to …he drove drunk on some of Brisbane most heavily trafficked streets that aren’t on toll roads …actually Northside it is the most heavily trafficked street to get to Samford Rd …

It was at his friends place… his friend was having a party celebrating the fact he/she was cancer free. He wasn’t out in the middle of
No where drinking his pain away

He ended up in the Brisbane Valley …out past a picnic area I used to clean with my BFP contract …it ain’t suburbia that is for sure

Tamou is also a much better defender than Aloiai.

To be perfectly fair, Josh was always capable of pulling off the odd “grass cutter”.

      Explain more please …lol

When I played footy it generally meant a solid legs tackle , in today’s game it’s probably useless with the wrestle

Ohhh, as simple as that? There are other meanings to the term “cutting a mate’s grass” but the Sea Eagles would never sign a flawed character like that, would they?

I assumed since it’s a footy forum it would be that but now that I’ve read the context properly it could be the other one 😂

Very unprofessional to let a player get a “lot of Maccas”

Yes players need to be accountable but you sometimes do need to hold their hand and guide them through. Poor from both club and player.

Yes how the mighty have fallen.

2SM icons - Brian White, Steve Liebmann, Jimmy Angel, Steve Blanda, would all cry tears of blood if they tuned into 2SM these days - It is a wonder they have the hide to call themselves newsreaders.

Madge basically swapped him for Roberts lets see how that call works out???
