I think that is pretty close to our starting 13 round 1, with the exception of Toa surely getting a crack somewhere in the 1-5.

Rd 1 I'd have Peachey in at lock, Joe to bench. Simpkin will need to be on the bench vs Storm to relieve Liddle. And To'a should get the centre spot over JTJ.

Yeah I thought he had a decent stint at 13 against Manly.

Could be thinking start Offa at 13 then bring Peach on midway through the first half to play that roaming role V tired opposition packs. I really think Peach will offer a lot of value ball playing through the forwards, something I can't recall us having since Halatau

I think Peachey did enough in his 20min to get the 13 spot. I’m really looking forward to this game against Chooks, it will give us an idea of how competitive we are this year. I’ll be focussed on two things..defence and how well the backs use the ball.

That was my immediate thought. I’m assuming that Peachy has done enough to warrant a starting spot at lock and that Offa is just being given game time.

My concern is how we’ll go without Twal and Mikaele. We look too weak up front over a full 80 mins and could get dominated.

Assuming we see Madden & Peach trialed in the halves after 40 mins with Toá to come in at centre with Pauga. Would of liked to see Toa tested at centre with the full squad but I guess Madge hasn't made up his mind yet..
