Pretty scary that Penrith looked so good without Cleary in round 1... even manly looked really good for the first portion of the game

I don’t think they will be as good this year. They looked real good last night, but so do most reigning premiers in round 1. I think Manly will finally be exposed for the flat track bullies they are this year. Roosters the team to beat imo.

Penrith sublime in all aspects of the game, well coached, and the passing , play the ball, at speed was exceptional. God their good!

I really hate Penrith, but

They played a simple and up tempo for the majority of that game.

Lots of bodies in the tackle and constant support in attack.

That's the formula for success.

Agreed but you missed one factor. You also need the better athletes.
