What a team

They will get worse. We have opened the season playing against 2 poor sides (Melbourne were missing most of their stars) and been unable to complete.

Tell me about it I'm sick of watching them it makes me sick to see how pathetic they are to be honest it wrecks my whole day I've been supporting them for 35 yrs,,the coach needs to go it's a joke

Given our roster and recruitment for this year - plus the lack of leadership in the team - I always thought we were certainties for bottom 4 anway.
Was quietly hoping for Peachey, Gildart, JTJ and Hastings to exceed expectations and am a little disappointed Adam Doueihi isn't in the team (to help strengthen our campaign) but nonetheless honestly always thought we were in for a poor year either way.

Frankly we don't have many NRL quality players but the selections, interchange and game plans also don't exactly fill me with any confidence.
FWIW thought T'oa in the trial games looked promising and wonder why he's not been considered but otherwise, minus a few players, it's not surprising to see this type of performance as every other team has made some obvious improvements - when we're still somewhat playing catch up with our roster building.

And the best player in the team is going to manly next year just goes to show why I'm starting to get over this team

Agree totally.
We have very little options available.
I can’t see any other side in 2022, playing so poorly.
It’s going to take a miracle to get anything decent out of this year.

To be honest jock shit all over brooks but will never get a chance because the coach is a full blown idiot

Sheen's has kept his distance from coaching.

This won't last long.

Maguire will go soon.

It's results time not matter what.

The team decline is too steep to come back now.

Brooks will follow suite

The misery of defeat comes about in different ways based upon a player’s reason for playing the game, the money involved, and the way success is achieved through defeat. No true competitor feels good about or is satisfied with losing; however, the best competitors learn from loss and strategically use adversity to their advantage in order to become a better person and an exceptional athlete.
From this one can only deduce that no one at the West Tigers agrees or is even remotely thinking about or abiding to this principle. From management to the players.

We have low IQ forwards. Always good for a stupid penalty or error at a time when the opposition can easily capitalise. We also don't defend an error or penalty very well (we don't defend very well period but you can set your watch to at least two tries a game coming off the back of penalties or errors.)
