I said this the other day and I honestly think I offended some people. These so called journalists just make stuff up. It's bizarre how people listen to them.

I would go after Tago & Leniu. Maybe Staines, if he was really cheap.
 
Watching the sharks last night, I didn't think Nikora looked any better than what we have now, personally I'd be getting in lucianos ear and ask him what he wants to stay the fact todd payten has back rowers coming out of his u know what, and he's an old tiger, he might just release Lucy

Yeah it really baffles me as to why they need him so badley there stacked with backrowers Surley he can stay loves Madge and all

I didn’t like his self love marquee talk last year, but in all other respects, he’s walking the walk.

Load him with third parties, chuck a few hundred extra at him.. I want to keep him.

There is bugger all available in the spine unless they can convince someone to break contract, so they will likely be spending their money elsewhere and sweeping up any decent players like Farnworth etc. Thankfully they've already invested a decent amount in their 2nd row, so we shouldn't have to compete with them too much there.

Would love to keep Lucy, he is one player that has taken his game to a higher level under madge, fitness as well. I would assume that there is no going back now unfortunately.

I wasn’t very impressed with Nikora in last nights game I thought that he was very average, not worth half of what we are throwing at him.
Teig Wilton looks a much better prospect and most probably cost half of Nikora’s money.

The difference is that he'll go the Storm for 300K, but would have wanted 600K to come us. Yes at the former, no at the latter. IMO. Not sure whether it's the TPAs that teams like the Storm can organise, to make up the shortfall, or whether the lure of a premiership is enough to make them lose so much money. Even if it was 450K, would be worth a year or two.
