Honestly hearing Annesley talk about referee criticism the other day made me incredibly angry. There’s so much inconsistency in the rulings and absolutely no appetite to rectify. The NRL don't care unless it is one of their "favoured" clubs that gets accidently shafted
It's redemption timeWARNING: The Ref who failed to check Lucy's try vs Warriors is officiating us again. How on Earth does the NRL think that that is a good idea?
there are several seasons that suggest that sort of performance may well be a one time showingI'm confident of a bold show here.
50-50 on whether they win but they'll come out with all guns blazing.
That type of performance isn't a one game showing. They just need to continue to be looking to score points.
100% agree with this. Brooks service was good but bringing Madden on late wasn’t helpful. I think our options are very limited at the moment so there’s not really anyone to take that spotMight be wrong in my assessment but I thought once Simpkin got hurt and Madden came on (forcing Brooks to Hooker), that we looked worse.
Know Parra weren't that flash either but I honestly thought we were lucky to hold on.
IMO having Madden on the bench is wasted and it might not work for us everytime.

I agree we didn’t look as good with the ball. Brooks’ service was quite good though, bullet passes hitting their mark. For Madge to give him training runs at DH, shows how desperate we are in that position. I think we’ll get good value from Api when he eventually arrives.Might be wrong in my assessment but I thought once Simpkin got hurt and Madden came on (forcing Brooks to Hooker), that we looked worse.

He basically just said that everyone is imagining these inconsistencies and favouritisms. So unhelpful.. Might as well have said nothing.Honestly hearing Annesley talk about referee criticism the other day made me incredibly angry. The NRL could be such a force but continually shoot themselves in the foot and alienate the fan base.
Great Stuff MadgeFrom Foxsports; Michael Maguire has refused to confirm Luke Brooks and Jackson Hastings will be the Wests Tigers’ full-time halves pairing going forward, despite their dominant performance in Monday’s shock win over the Parramatta Eels.
Playing their first game together since round two, Brooks and Hastings steered the previously winless Tigers to the biggest upset victory of the season.
Halfback Hastings took on game management duties, allowing Brooks to run the footy at five-eighth with devastating effect.
But when an ankle injury forced hooker Jake Simpkin from the field in the second half, Brooks took on dummy-half duties and Jock Madden slotted into five-eighth.
Brooks has spent time training at hooker in recent weeks and as they prepared for their game with the Eels, the Tigers told Brooks he could be required to shift there midgame, even if Simpkin remained fit.
Maguire hasn’t ruled out the possibility Brooks could again play hooker part-time against the Rabbitohs on Saturday, despite how comfortable he looked at five-eighth on Easter Monday.
You’ll have to wait and see,” Maguire said when asked about his plans for Brooks.
Simpkin has been named to start at hooker against the Rabbitohs but Maguire said he could be a late omission from the side.
“He’s responded pretty well so we just have to go through training and work out whether or not he makes it through,” Maguire said.
Jacob Liddle has been named on an extended bench for the Rabbitohs clash and looms as the likeliest option to replace Simpkin if he fails his fitness test.
Hastings looks certain to play 80 minutes at halfback in his second game back from suspension.
Maguire wasn’t surprised Hastings took control against Parramatta and booted a late field goal to seal the Tigers’ win.
“I knew he’d do that,” Maguire said. “I think if you go back to round one, unfortunately we just haven’t had ‘Jacko’ on the field for those following games.
“For ‘Jacko’, it’s about replicating that now and doing it over and over. It’s something that he works very hard at.”
Maguire said he was pleased the Tigers finally had the monkey off their back but insisted his side couldn’t become sidetracked by its win.
“It was great to see the smiles but we’ve definitely moved onto the next game now. It’s a big game,” he said.
“We’re playing a top team and we know the opposition are very capable. I’m about enjoying the moment and then you’ve got to move forward.
“We’ve all been around long enough to know that if you stay in that, you’re not moving forward. We’re definitely focused on what we need to do.”
Yep agree. I was trying to point out the chance in halves was what killed our momentum just didn’t phrase it well. We need a true utility desperatelyIf you need a hooker use Liddle or put Peachey on the bench. Don't chop and change the halves who have played the full game and actually compliment each other kicking wise when the game is on the line.
Yeah, except Wests Tigers memberships are stuck in the eastern stand. It’s really badly done for paying members.Southern and northern ends ok. More shade than LO or CSS, by about 10k.
nobody wants to watch a game from behind the goals members tickets should always be sideline tickets like at every other stadium.Problem is at Parramatta it is Eastern Stand for day games so the corporate boxes can have a Chardonnay and mini pie in the shade not looking into the sun. Night time game doesn't matter obviouslyYeah, except Wests Tigers memberships are stuck in the eastern stand. It’s really badly done for paying members.

Can't wait until we leave this Sh#%hole in 2023 anyone who enjoys it must live interstate and watch the games on TV not attend them live
Only after they win a grand final so it’s probably safe for a whileWas disappointed that the Parramatta supporters didn't burn the place down after the game last Monday.
The scum have got form you know.
