Alex Seyfarth #232

I don’t see him yelling at a player laying down as an example of passion, it’s frustration. He knew what was going on, that CHT was milking it, and he knew he could have been penalised, placed on report, sin binned etc. He was pissed off.

He has that good pyscho personality too. It's controlled and he isn't going to punch on stupidly (at least I hope not) but he goes hard.

If you can't tell he is one of my favourite players. He'd be one of the first picked players in our team. Him and Stef are the two middle forwards that should be sure picks if fit.

Not exactly breaking news…

Nothibg special, but more effort than some of the other pea-hearted show ponies that are earning a lot more than him.

Plays with passion and commitment. Should be first player picked for that reason alone.
If we get another 8-10 blokes to play like that every week we are in business.
Sad to think passion and commitment are the main ingredients missing in our team.

Make him captain. At least that way he can show up the non combatants.

I don’t get why people are crazy about him.

Sure had a great burst which loved but that shouldn’t be his highlight moment.

He gives away stupid penalties at times, doesn’t bend the line, can make errors and his defense is suspect at times.

He played ok against an ordinary Warriors pack that had been dominated in every game this year to date - his other 2 games he was very ordinary.

I just don’t think he is nrl quality.
Each to their own.

His passion and pride is often commented on but the thing I like the most about him (the same with Stefano) is his hunger.
Can't do too much about our current depth of talent or anything about the team's injuries, but individuals who have this attribute is good for building team competitiveness and spirit IMO.
Not only does he put in the effort with his own role but he knows and works on his own weaknesses/strengths, for the betterment of the team.
It's a shame everyone in the team doesn't have the same attitude as Seyfarth. Seems he often makes the most of his opportunities.
