Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

But we don't have those players you just mentioned, they are all leaving.

I would be very happy to have Paps and Blore starting with Siro off the bench covering the edge and the middle. Curtis could end up a very handy acquisition.
Sitaleki > Sirro

Both could be used tho.
We need players, desperately.

Sirro's juniors were both given plenty of chances, Curtis was a joke - never wanted to hit the line when he was with the WT, in the same vein as Moltzen - "I will always pass, so cannot be tackled".
And we have Garner, Tuilagi, Leilua etc. all >> Curtis Sirronen
We don't have any of those players next year. More the point we only have Papa inbound.
Let's say Blore and Kane are on deck, we are still 2 backrowers down.

Both are different players though.

Sita off the bench could add some much needed impact/punch, but would he come over as a bench forward let alone after what happened last time, it may require some $$$ as well.

Sirro is meh for me, he provides experience and needing someone who can take minutes but what else does he really bring. Don't think he would make much of an impact but the $$ to bring him back would it really be worth it? Other flip side is would we be better off just keeping TT for a year and move him to the backrow like he was always mentioned to be headed both are meh decisions either way.

agree, but if 5/8, lock or 2nd raw is the question, Curtis Sirronen is definitely not an answer.
We need aggressive players of the type of Ellis, Cochrane, A Murray etc., not another pillow plodder.

Hope we are not desperate enough to be seriously considering these two.

With our squad for next year as it stands I doubt we need 5/8th coverage.
And Agree I wouldn't sign him & would be very surprised if he came back.

Id happily take Curtis Sironen back and doesent surprise me. Only 28, Sirro Snr still works at club, Sheensy brought him into grade. Big body with plenty of experience on an edge.

Curtis Siro is another Blore, spends most of the year in the rehab squad
We need to make some moves real soon with recruitments.

Losing 4 of our top 17 (forwards) after this year with only one (not including Api) coming in.

Unless we're planning on relying on youth, we need to make some signings.
