Round 16 team vs Warriors *Official*

I'm trying to think what our strengths are Tony.
I think it's all about possession for these two struggling teams.
To have more possession we have to do all the 1%ers, no cheap penalties, complete our sets, good kick and chase, effective tackles ect ect.
Just get back to doing the basics right, that would be a good start I reckon.
Sounds very much like Madge’ game plan . Same cattle though unfortunately.

It does doesn't it.
Of course they could just throw the ball around and have fun but you have to have your share of possession and bend the line to do that, so back to my original post 🤣

I don't get to watch much reserve games but how does this guy go?
He looks like a unit so fingers crossed he kills it.

I like the team. Brooks into 9 and AD to 6. One prop on the bench in Stef who can bend the line. We need two but it's a start.
Just hope Stef is fully fit and ready to go.

He was like the ghost of his former self when he returned from injury a few weeks ago, hopefully the extra week off has made a difference.

I know we have bugger all depth but playing someone who is not right can't be a good thing and I'm pretty sure Jackson is in the same boat.

Doesn't stand out in Cup tho, but does his job. I'm just glad they're looking to the future and trying out the next men up after we'll lose our top three second rowers next year.

I agree wholeheartedly. The hooker sets the tempo. A good one can control the ruck speed through targeted runners, scoots and kicks. They are always scheming and looking for opportunities. They should not be structured. It’s the reason so many consider Smith to be superior to Johns in the argument for GOAT.

Our failure to replace Scott Prince has been matched by the failure to replace Robbie Farah. The best replacement we have had for Robbie was himself. Api will make a huge difference next year in these respects.

I know Penrith have an abundance of talent coming through the ranks but they didn’t really become the juggernaut like they are today until API arrived … just saying

I’m pretty sure the year before 2020 (before api arrived) they were awful and finished bottom 8

Agree a good #9 is more influential on the game than the halves
