Some discussions have developed today that might see Nathan Brown join effective immediately.

Charlie Staines has also now been given official permission from Panthers to discuss with others for 2023, offer from the club imminent.

Doueihi 1st cab off the rank in relation to re-signing, very positive discussions this week, 3 year deal being discussed taking him to 2026.

Nothing has changed from the club stand point on Isaiah, he will be here next year as far as they are concerned.
If the Nathan Brown deal is done some juniors will be added to the top 30 next year i.e Tumeth. Some also rate the player we got from Dragons, Boyling.

This same day Hastings is in Media saying that the Team has no issue with him, Sheens has no issue with him and sees him as having a place in the side moving forward and he doesn't want to change clubs.

In the meantime , with no disrespect intended, may I suggest some good recruitment retention education may be gained if you spend couple of hours of your life to watch (or as in my case re-watch) baseball movie Moneyball.
And think about similarities of our problem to that of A‘s and their recruitment approach for a team in deep shit, like we are.
No pressure …. just a friendly suggestion.

Got moneyball seen it 3 times good movie "gets on base a lot".whatever i just want chatter to be about recruiting and winning not who said what about who .Actually "draft day " more appropriate where no 1 pick was turned down by not being a team player

Thanks mate, any news on Hastings ? The interview the other day on the news he seems keen to stay here, are the tigers keen to keep him around or is there a feeling they want to move forward with brooks and AD as the halves pairing.

I don’t know if Brown adds much to the club at this stage of his career. He is passed his best and doesn’t come across as an experienced leader who could positively influence the younger guys (I could be wrong). This has to be completed by the end of the weekend if it is to happen immediately.

Staines does add pace that we are lacking but isn’t a major step up.

I worry we are going to have the same issues we have now where we have a lot of solid first graders across the Top 30.
