Hastings has definitely helped our attack since moving to lock, but the thing that makes his play at lock impressive is his defensive work. He's actually a really effective and positive middle defender, often rushing up and usually positioning well in tackles to slow the play the ball down. Not only is he not overmatched physically in the middle, he actually is a very positive contributor to our defense and its no coincidence that we've looked better defensively since he moved there.

Sometimes there’s a fine line between whinging and standing up for yourself and your mates when dealing with opposition infringements.
The team are starting to find their voice and are standing up.

I like our spine options and our outside backs are coming on. 3-4 new forwards needed for next year.

With Sheen keeping him at 13 even with Brooks out says Sheen wants him there long term. I think it's just up to Hasting and if he wants to play there long term or not.
I was very concerned about this move but TBH I think its been a master stroke and has opened our game up plus Hastings has been very impressive with this efforts without the ball.
Please Please keep this guy.
