Sharks would have lots of players under the $500K mark. They don't have many players on big money. Fifita, Finucane, Hynes and McInnes are their highest paid players, and only Fifita is on massive coin. Finucane and Hynes reported around the $600-700K mark.

They also have a large crop of young players, who are playing well and are only on their first or second contracts. Those guys would be cheap. Easy to balance a cap when you have youth coming through who are performing to first grade standard within 1-2 seasons of their debut.

I'm 74 never knew my grandfather but he went to tigers first game 1908 at birchgrove oval and my father in 50's and 60 's would take me to Leichardt and Redfern and Bemore and SCG and east's ground Sydney sports ground most saturdays wherever tigers playing. Would have been interesting to hear what your grandfather would of had to say about the 1909 Final.

Pretty sure the Chooks have a plan in motion .. i think the plan was to retire Keary due to too many head knocks .. move Teddy to 5/8 as he gets older and move Suaalii to fullback .. and leave Manu in the centres .. I believe this there 2024 plan.

Speaking centres .. see our ex Pommy centre Gildart now playing for the Chooks in the Knock On Cup scored 5 try's in 1 match on the weekend .. !! its amazing what extra money makes you do .. !! 🙂

he could literally play anywhere across the park except for hooker. I think he's a GI/Folau type fullback that will dominate out wide. I think he'll head to union at some point too, supreme athlete.
