Any chance of a mid season swap/loan deal?

Would storm accept rua for pezet lol for a loan deal
 
Players I think could boost our squad:

Blake Taaffe- probably as a 5/8. I see him similar in style to Luke Keary, and is behind players at Souths that will always restrict his ability to play First grade in Mitchell, Ilias & Walker.

Paul Momerovski- hear me out. He's defensively solid, makes few mistakes & comes through many good systems- Roosters, Panthers, Storm. He's 38th in the pecking order at the Roosters, but he instantly tidies up our defensive woes out wide. Not flashy. He's Shane Elford. It's Campbell Graham lite. Pushes either Talau if he doesn't recapture his potential or Naden who is a good attacker, but very average defender.

Mawene Hiroti- On the outside looking in at the Sharks. Very capable player in both attack & defence out wide.

Jayden Okunbor- Another on the outside looking in. Last year of his contract- a bigger winger to put opposite Taupo on the other side.

Honestly I think next to Wayne Bennett and Des Haslier, Ricky Stuart would be the best coach to sort out Brooks. He would get him on the cheap too.

This will either ruin Canberra or make them if it were to happen. 100% Canberra would be out to replace Wighton and we should offload Brooks asap.

Has anyone seen the Storm actually GIVE UP on a talent like Pezet?

I'd say Hughes is in more danger of being moved on. Or Munster to FB & find a position for Pezet.

I think that’s a great swap for us, great for Rua, and we need a half asap but still leaves us looking for one for next season and we would have to go into the swap with a no-sign Pezet clause coz the storm know we’re desperate for a 7. But do storm need a reserve grade hooker, (mini cheese as someone called him last year), and I guess they get a 7 back with more nrl games under his belt. You’d think with injuries and suspensions Pezet would get another 6ish games staying there, so an extra 14 games of nrl experience if we swap. Not sure there’s enough in it for them but we got a winger they’re familiar with NoSho and there’s always AD, Talau, LB?

Its possible, but I think they’ll keep Meany at 1. Although I could be wrong and they may move Munster back to 1 and Meany back to Wing or Centre. But I think Pezet knew that there’s a good chance he’ll be stuck behind them for a while in staying there.

It’s so sad that we are in this ‘desperate’ situation 4 rounds into the season. If it was long term injuries that caused this desperation you could excuse it, but we had a WHOLE off season to sort this out! Instead we put all our eggs in one basket trying to lure (Moses) and hinged all our hopes on a decade proven average player coming good (Brooks). This is so unprofessional, it’s embarrassing!

We’ve done the same thing with goal kickers over the years also, never seem to be able to find a consistent one, despite numerous player purchases and off seasons. It has cost us so many matches, as has the spine problem. We enter every new season hampered because of the club’s seeming inability to address the bleeding obvious!
 
We should be doing everything to get this Pezet kid from Storm. I know under contract but offer whatever they want for him. Kid looks the goods

Don’t know if legit but I heard he didn’t want to hear from any other teams before he re-signed.
