Yea possibly, but at that stage in his development, wasn't exactly a standout fb prospect, i have no confidence this club could have turned him into one. Bellamy on the other hand..... Im a little negative i know, just a bit fed up

Great to see Kelma play terribly today. He is an awful defender - nice to see an ex WT fail at another club.

Also - Kaeo Weeks - terrible. Runs sideways and doesn’t want contact - can’t play first grade. Can’t defend - he is too small - not going to be a first grader for at least a few years. He will grow a bit for sure but could he be the saviour of WT at the moment - absolutely not.

Cooper Johns would honestly be a better option than him.

Brad Schneider - watch how bad he is if you can. He is as good at football as Shane Watson was at using the DRS.

Props to all players for having the courage to step on the field. Not being facetious - it takes bravery and some skill to get to first grade. If they didn’t get paid I’d never say a bad word about them.

When I reflect on Daine Laurie, I remember...

images - 2023-04-08T203022.234.jpeg

- celebrating the Panthers grand final win, in a Panthers jersey like a die hard fan.

- multiple skate park sessions where he was doing front flips

- liking a post showing footage of our opposition scoring against us

- a night out playing pokies before a game that we lost.

- drinking & golfing most days when guys like Fonua Pole are putting in extra training sessions

- can't forget the time he dived out of the way, as in, the complete opposite direction when Kikau was running towards the line.

I guess that all could be excusable if he delivered on the field... but he doesn't. His lack of commitment to professionalism reflects when he takes the field.

He won't and shouldn't be offered a new deal with the club and I cannot see him becoming a regular starter elsewhere.
