Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Tass is not a difference maker. Solid but not worth investing big money in. Prefer Graham but there's no way we get him. The priority must be a half decent, organising half.
Remember we are the beggars not the choosers . Graham is top tier and will not be moved by Wighton .No way he would want to come to the spooners .However Wighton signing is bad news for Tass who is a good solid center .With him we have a chance

And the players?
It's the squad they've assembled. The entire squad is playing to it's ability, including Brooks, it's just that he isn't an NRL player. It's just more obvious in 2023 because our pack gets us good field position so often. If you are defending Brooks play in 2023, you're a family member or someone who knows nothing about footy.
P.S I cheer for Brooks EVERY FKN WEEK COZ I WANNA WIN.

The sooner we ship Noffa off, the sooner we will have more coin left and a spot in top 30 to make a play for the next bloke.
I don’t care if will smith gets an upgrade so we can play Brooks in Reggie’s.
Right now our real issue is no controlling half and no back up to try.
Will Smith has been very poor in KOE cup
One thing that amuses me is how fast the fans ( or the forum fans) turn on our long term players who have contributed well over the years .Nofo was Wests Tigers player of the year in 2020 and Dally M winger and by far the leading try scorer 99 . In 2 of our 4 wins last year he scored doubles
Laurie was voted players player of the year just last year 2022 and his first year with us he signed on for a tiny 150k .

I honestly don't see why we necessarily benefit from Brooks leaving the club apart from less noise on the forum. He is clearly our best half now and he is creating heaps of points for us. In all seriousness he has been heavily involved in most of our tries over the past 2 weeks. 2 of 3 tries this week and 3 of 4 last game. This is objective reality. I posted the highlights last game and wrote it down. I can do it again.

We win if we get 2 halves better than Brooks. I reckon there is a 99.9% chance that doesn't happen.

People aren't looking at the situation rationally. Those points above are reality. Try not to be emotional or irrational.

*** For clarity I don't drink very often but I am on prescribed medication.
The medication wouldn't be for delusional by any chance.

When we’ve missed the finals for twelve years in a row, it’s a much bigger issue than just “the players are bad”.

Decision makers higher up are at fault.

Both probably go hand in hand poor management poor recruitment.

We still have the 1.4mill left we offered Moses.

What are we doing with it?????????

I dont necessarily disagree that based purely on ability a Brooks on a cheap contract at 6 with a dominant 7 is a decent option but one of the main things holding us back is the stink and gossip surounding the club which unfortunately Brooks is a major contributing factor

so getting rid of Brooks might not help us on the field but it helps our recruitment alot more

I understand that we probably are in a begging position, but as I said, Steve, Tass is not a difference maker. Put some better playmakers inside our centres and they probably look just as good as Tass and won't cost as much.

Probably but we won't sign Campbell Graham so not worth wasting time on
