I blame him for some of our losses his team selections are unbelievable & how he continues to pick Wakeham & Talau above Laurie & Naden is ridiculous.

I'll never understand, Talau has signed for Manly why are we giving game time to someone leaving the club. Why help develop an opposition player?
I’m still not sure if that’s locked in . Can anyone
fully clarify that’s a done deal ?
If yes, totally agree, let him look after the gear until he leaves.
Anyway he played Naden back in the team tonight.

None of u pelicans were saying this after the cowgirls game!!!
No energy from the team from the outset didn’t help, the ginger letting them play all over us also didn’t help!
The thing that really shits me is a gutless toe rag like tino runs like that only at small guys, he did that deliberately to hurt api. Piece of shit. The only thing worse was No tigers players looking for revenge, just let him have a great time, weak as f.

You're dreaming if you think Laurie will be any good but might find out next week

Greatest mysteries of first grade. They do it all the time like last year, Kelma that went to Manly, they kept playing him week after week and he was playing shit when they could have blooded Tumeth, Mata etc. Its very frustrating.

100 percent had a good game last week but if he's Def leaving I'm putting Klemmer ahead of him in the centres after last night's game, shouldn't be considered for first grade in a Tigers jersey again if he's going.

I can’t believe he went with Talau over Naden..

Laurie is useless..

I blame him that we don’t have sufficient depth in the halves which is now been exposed through injury and basically means we will collect our second wooden spoon ..

With this forward pack… they should not be getting he spoon

Well Wakeham has been very good recently. If he was dropped before the Titans game people would justifiably be up in arms. Replacing him with a guy who was dropped from his usual position and making him play in the halves would be a strange call. Laurie isn’t he even playing 5/8 in NSW Cup.

Naden is coming back from his second suspension in two years. Talau has been decent in recent weeks.

Everything looks clearer in the rear vision mirror…

The coaching staff picked the right team yesterday and even pushed it. Bateman played as a 13. They had Pole on the bench.

We were just really really poor plus we got screwed by losing two of our best players in Api and Brooks.

One positive is the way Bula stepped up when Brooks came off. The kid is really playing well.

Great interview. Shows how much thought goes in to coaching and long-term planning. Can’t wait for part 2.
Agreed. I started off only going to listen to about 10 minutes tonight......2 hours later and I finished Part 1 haha.

Lots of great insight into current arrangements, reasons for decisions, planning, along with many off topic tangents that Sheens takes the conversation.

Really interesting about Sheens mentioning he had the choice to sign Adam Blair or James Graham in 2012 for the 2013 season and his regret over the choice (he ended up getting sacked and never got to coach Blair anyway though).

Kicking to the corners every end of set is bad coaching. We are last on the ladder. We heard that the team were passing 200 times in the preseason. Now we barely pass once.

No idea what the coaches are trying to achieve.
