Captain Smith went down with the Titanic but i can guarantee that not one of the officers (Sheens Pascoe Lee or the board) will go down on our ship as they will be the first into the lifeboats and the rest of the crew and passengers can try and keep the ship afloat.

This was my point when news first came about of Brooks rejecting the contract offer. It wasn't me talking up Brooks it was me pointing out the fact we actually needed him to re-sign because there is literally no one else available. Again this all falls back to Lee & Pascoe... until these two f wits leave this club nothing will change.

It is a hard road trying to establish yourself as a first grader whilst having a large section of the fanbase expecting you to provide results. People are calling him a superstar already!
It also seems worrying that he and his management wouldnt look to establish him at Manly with DCE controlling things for a year or two.

Mine as well...and at times I have hated having Brooks here.

So pay your membership. We need good durable lifeboats. Weather proof. They aren't cheap.

That is correct. It is not ideal although it is pleasing to know the club has learnt from the Mitch Moses auction. We didn't get dragged into another drawn out contract saga.

Does anyone know - heard from a reliable source - a friend of a friend, 2nd cousin to the sisters wife, that Brooks will not be leaving empty handed - and will in fact have a couple of Fedoras in his closet as a token of his time with the Wests Tigers?

Seen a photo of Chairman Lee and Sirro Snr , i could not work,out what Lee was trying to look like , then it hit me , he is trying to look like a 1940/50 s. Big Time Gangster , Pin stipe Suite , Long overcoat , Hat , I need to find it and post it ,
