France are a top 5 team I'm fairly certain? Nothing lucky about that win mate, it was all effort. If you can't appreciate the effort defensively then the game probably just isn't for you? I hate penalties deciding a game though.

100% I was on the edge of my seat the whole game. Alot of good chances for each side before the penalties.

I really really hope Aussie Soccer as a whole gain a lot from this World Cup, and I feel we will as long as the blokes that cause trouble at the men's games pull their friggin heads in and behave. No more flares in particular.
Yuh never know after putting on a successful Womens World Cup we could be lucky enough to get the Men's World Cup, just not in my lifetime though as I'm sure I will have fallen of the perch before that happens.

Zero score in over two hours of game play is complete incompetence.
All the bullshit about Sam Kerr…. came on and did nothing. Lucky to be female as she would be slogging it out in some league second division somewhere if she was born male with her skill set.

I was really surprised how average they were given the coverage they are getting. Frenchies weren’t any better. It was like watching people who only started playing the sport in February…of this year.

The shootouts should be the main event and if they can’t get a winner after a dozen each, then play a game of soccer. They are doing it the wrong way around.
