It's a bit of dammed if you do dammed if u don't situation with Lee for the board.

If you change Lee, then effectively you are changing future plans again, in that any new chairman may want to change Lee's plan.

All the people arguing Lee can't stick to a plan asking the board to sack lee is asking the exact same thing that are unhappy with the board about.

I think it's right to back Lee, Fulton, benji fully for the next 3 years. There can be no more jumping and must follow the course they are on.

The point here is him accepting another 3 year term while a review of the entire operation is about to start.
Surely he could have graciously said he'd wait to accept until after the review?
Obviously his massive ego meant he couldn't even consider this.
Also makes you think the Directors are crawling to him now in case the report points the finger at them.

Was the board involved in this re-signing? Who knows. You can bet the family jewels that it would have been their fault if Bula had gone elsewhere.

All opinions should be looked for and i would hope they would be,i have no time for Benny but his input and all other sources should be looked at.It is part of the data gathering procedure so i have no problem with it even though i would never take his advice

So your happy to get a 3rd spoon then, generally if it’s not broken you don’t fix it right, so what your saying is let’s keep the same board in place and let them keep doing what they have done for the past 6 or so years cause there doing a great job, pleaseeeeeeee tell us all what has this board done right in the past 6 years

The review will say that there is a conflict of interest in having your major sponsor as chairman of the board and recommend this conflict is addressed. Given Lee’s new 3 year deal, this recommendation will either be ignored or Lee will cease being the major sponsor whilst remaining chairman of the board. If the latter, it’s a brilliant business/political move by Lee to retain all the power whilst saving himself all the money he formerly tipped in.

Yeah on 360 last night, Benny mentioned he was invited to be interviewed as part of about 50 interviews the consultants are doing & have started. Earlier Pooper & Caryannis (who had lunch with Lee yesterday) from the DT alluded to media, players, ex players, coaches, former coaches, members, fans being on the list of interviews to build wide-ranging stakeholder viewpoints. I wonder if any of the WT Podcast guys have been invited. @helmesy @cochise ??
