Man that's actually looking like a Decent backline.
Olam + Naden I reckon could actually defend that side. You clearly have some strong muscle there. Toa/Tupou, if Tupou trains up and stops letting attackers through we would stand a chance. I think Bateman has the Agility in defense to assist. 100% would play Bateman on that side as a second-rower to see if we could get a sneaky try.
A decent backline and I reckon Olam would lift those around him.

Think "Courage" is the imappropriate word,as Olam still ran fearlessley(at times) but less effectively...and unusually missed tackles he wld easily make.
Suspecting he was severely injured in that Manly game and carried it for rest of season,and that off season will recover from both physical and mental demons from that game
Up to Benji and more importantly our medical staff to make call after thorough independent medical evaluation...not the Matilino evaluation "she'll be right"after he failed Knights Med test and was close to being finished b4 we took him on
We desperately need the Olam of 2022..particularly if were giving up our best young forward(injury prone that he is himself)in exchange
Bellyache is much,much smarter than us,so need to tread carefully,gather all the med info we can,and make fact based decisions

The medical test for Mataulino was stringent compared to the joke of a medical test that dopey JT gave Balin,Manly knew he would not be able to play when they sold us that pup.Manly only paid for part of his first year and our idiot coach and board gave him a 2 year contract just so they could sack Robbie.
Probably the worst decision our club ever made especially when we had to pay a hefty part of Robbies contract to Souffs.Our board are the most incompetent group of idiots ever assembled at a sports club
