Ciraldo talking about moving Burton to centre

Makes sense if they land Tracey

Tracey or Taaf to play 1 or 6
Critta an option at 1 also.

There 1 to 7 looking quite decent.
I think Xerri will be good next season too.
Tracey is more of a utility who can cover a few positions. I don't view him as a dedicated 6. Moving Burton to centre is an expensive failure.

The Dogs can send Burton our way if there is a cap problem.

Off field...
Eddie Farah has left the Rabbitohs.

Comes after Latrell made comments he wasn't looked after, after injury and struggled to find form when returning post injury.

Speaking of wich, Peter Moussa really
has been good at nursing injuries on that
front 4 the club, barring a few serious ones.
Lattrell is just a brat. They sent his big ass
to the states too if I'm not mistaken. F him

It doesn't look good for Kepaoa & Blore that they haven't been at training this week.

It would leave our backrow depth quite shallow for experience behind IP & Bateman even with Sam Fainu & Tumeth as options.

There possibly is a backrow on the radar. We have been linked to Luki & Finefeuiaki from the Cowboys or could we go another tangent and recruit experience in Raymond Faitala-Mariner for 2 years (as a bench option)???
Blore's definitely on his way out, but it's too early to make a call on Kepaoa considering he played for New Zealand A. we'll know more in a couple weeks.

The other option I'd entertain is recruiting Karl Lawton from Manly as a bench utility for hooker, backrow & lock.

1 - Manly did allow him to seek other clubs recently for his 2024 contract (though did recently say they are happy to keep him).
2 - It would allow us to release Jake Simpkin if he has a club willing to take his 2024 contract.
3 - It would allow Tallyn to build reps in NSW Cup as a starting hooker.
4 - Lawton reportedly is very professional & good clubman as well as a solid player as a hooker or backrower.
5 - It would allow us to position Sam Fainu as our main backup backrower (if an injury to IP or Bateman) with Lawton staying as bench utility.

Lawton brings more versatility than Simpkin at probably the same $$$ value and would give us more depth in the backrow position.

That is possibly the case. But Matamua played an international too and he's back so who knows.
