I am not prepared to give up on Bud just yet. Such a long season and the fact this is our 3rd change we have made in the halves should show why depth in those positions are so important. I am actually loving the debate though because its clear we now have genuine choices for halves. Before the season my future thoughts where Galvin at 13, Latu at 6, Romey at 7, Bud 14 and Sezer gone. But bugger me Sezer has started off so well and Galvin couldn’t have asked for a better start to your career. Great headache to have.

Can’t fault Staines and Faataapes effort, they both deserve to be top 30 players in an NRL squad, but we really need better quality in those positions if we want to be a top 8 threat.
I actually think Bud is a 9 masquerading as a half Ala John Morris ! In fact I think he does a decent job when API goes off , in the 9 .
But as soon as he moves to half the whole structure breaks down , his defensive reads are shocking , and he has a penchant for hero ball .
For me I’d bring Latu into the 6 , leave Sullivan at 9 , because I think the hero Ball running at tired middles would work late in the first half , and maintain something of our structure .
I’m not blaming him for the loss , I think we were extremely poor with ball control and execution in that first half , and guys clocking off , of which Sullivan was one of many .
We get 30 out on us last year with that first half , and the score would be 50 at least . There wouldn’t be any resilience . If you’re gonna lose on a poor performance , that’s about as bad you want to be .
I feel like we are closing the gap between our really bad performances and the results and every other performance . Which is what the best teams do . Penrith were put to the sword this afternoon , and they still only lost by 14 .

If you gave sezer full control do you think we could play Bula as a running 5/8 ? Maybe Staines or naden to fullback and wing . Until Galvin is back . I just hate moving Api from the 9 . I Dunno probably Bud is our only option 😄

He was mouthing off to someone in the crowd tonight and it looked like gestured for them to come down onto the sideline with him. What was that shit about?
I mean he’d just been knocked out cold in his little brother’s debut and probably had some drunk making slick comments to him as he was walking off. Seems pretty forgivable.
NRL don't tolerate that sort of rubbish.. Bloke has sawdust between the ears needs. To do. Better
