People are tired of an experienced player and a pack leader shirking his responsibility in the side, then taking the first train out of town.

It's not Stef making desperate cover tackles in defence or chasing kicks in the 78th minute.

It's young players like Galvin, Samuela and Pole.

If Stef had half the desperation during his time here, Tigers' fans would have nothing but adoration for him.

Easy option on the field, now easy option off the field.

Too right, and I'm sure Stefano or someone close to him is scouring this forum reading the feedback from WT fans on his depature..I hope they read your post and pass it on to him...not that he cares!.

Those teams always lose good forwards..pretty much every year.
If we are only replacing what we are losing, we arent improving the situation. Our greatest weakness is not the strongest 17. Its the other 13 that need to be called upon.

I don't disagree, but 3-4 added forwards for us is replacing Bateman and Stef + adding 1 or 2 more. I don't think we have more spots available outside of that at this stage.

There are ramifications for our decisions and the fan base have every right to feel slighted and betrayed by his decision. He was supposed to be one of the ships that we all sailed back to some form of success on. I hope it's vindictive and vitriolic. Too many people are protected from the real-world implications of their decisions these days. Give him both (metaphorical) barrels.

Have a look at AFB's bust early on Saturday and Steph's attempted tackle, or lack of, from marker. There's a million dollar prop versus a bench plodder.

I would imagine Stefano will be getting a pretty negative reception at Leichhardt.

Its too late for a mid season trade isnt it?

Dont think it will happen as Stef plays if hes here but I would take Klemmer and Pole, with a bench of Twal, Seyfarth and a week to week rotation to develop Miller, Johansen and maybe Kit L for the remainder of the year.

Stef shouldn’t even be at the ground. He’s made his decision, hope he’s not expecting and sadness or sympathy.
If he is there maybe he could do a walk of shame in his new team colours !
That would be the send off he deserves.

I think Richo will get a surprise at how hard it will be to spend that war chest. Then the $2m will only be able to purchase the equivalent of $1.2m at fair market value. 😞
