I agree with this which is a bit unfortunate considering how good this young kid is. He was one of our highly touted juniors we signed and imo we have used him poorly the past couple years. He came down to us having already debuted in QCup and what did we do? Put him in SG Ball and then off the bench last year for Flegg with one game for cup. This year dominant in Flegg, shaky start to his first KOE which imo he made up for in his 2nd game with his defence, played 10mins in his last game for Cup, moved to Ron Massey which he dominated now back in Flegg. Obviously injuries and suspension has plagued the last month but I feel we have chosen more of our local juniors over him and he’s meant to be in our Top 30 next year? by the looks of it he’ll be on the outer with us considering he’ll be able to negotiate from Nov 1.
Very poor if true. Faagutu should be in NSW Cup well ahead of Kit Laulilii.

No wonder we are languishing where we are if this occurs. Faagutu is a talent and we need to ensure he has every opportunity to succeed even if it means moving on a local junior.
Yep pretty much but I also hope that being under Isaac Moses doesn’t hurt his chances either considering all the mess earlier this year with young Galvin

Every time I get dejected or lose hope, Richo drags me back in. The guy is extremely convincing.
For how long does that last, I wonder?

I mean I'm glad there is optimism remaining, but the results are 100% not there and apart from Luai coming in 2025, there is no other major change that should be expected to make a significant impact in 2025 vs 2024. Maybe 1 player is enough, but you would also have hoped after a couple of coach changes, CEO change, Board change, CoE opening that any one of those could also have been a strong enough reset for the club to find some success.

I also agree that Richo speaks well and seems confident in his ability, but 2024 has been a fairly catastrophic year. Really could hardly have gone worse with just 4 wins and losing our best young prop, also having to shift on, at cost, AGAIN, some significant senior investments that just haven't worked out. Discipline has been horrendous. We started the year OK in defence and impotent in attack, whereas now we score quite a lot of points but cannot defend under any sustained pressure. Benji deserves a decent amount of time to get results, at least 3 years like his predecessors, but already people are calling for his head because he's inexperienced.

It would seem to me that no matter how well Richo sells it, it's really only results that count now for Tigers fans. The Heads at Tigers have been talking for a long time, all variations of the same tune, but the results aren't there. To put it in perspective - I met my wife and have had 3 children SINCE last time Tigers made the finals. My kids have never seen Tigers in the finals and the eldest is about to turn 11.

Any relation to Stephen Crichton?

You think he’ll resign with us if his gf is here or he’ll do what he thinks is best for him?
Yeah sister.

Not sure. You make some good points. Being managed by Moses probably gives Richo no confidence but he is a prospect with a lot of upside who suits the modern game for a middle.

I hope your son was brought up to NOT follow the Tigers!.

Same with my 12 year old son. He went to 17 live games before he saw us win (and that was the Dolphins game where Api kicked the late penalty goal).

His flag still looks brand new because he hasn’t had many times to wave it!
