We can’t keep saying it will take time, any goal must have a time frame to focus the required attention. If it’s 2 years then let them announce that ie we expect to be competitive for the start of the 2026 season. Specific and timed, and ridiculous ! Has to be next year !

I thought we had a good defensive coach doing a fine job in David Furner but we sacked him mid contract. This is why I lose confidence in the club being capable of ever playing finals footy again. We just aren’t building on our small successes.
 
Richo is a no nonsense, fairly supercilious kind of guy who doesn’t like to admit defeat or admit when he is possibly wrong. Because of this, and his long history and experience in the game, I believe he is probably one of the few people who can make the changes that are required for us to succeed. He admitted that we are 2 years away and that it will take time for the process and he is asking us fans to hang tough and support the effort.
One thing he didn’t discuss was coaching changes and support for Benji - I believe this is a critical part of the solution. Keen to see what happens in this area.

Look we all know it won’t happen over night, what is frustrating ME and I think must supporters is that lack of information, quick to tell us all whose going , but no reason behind it , and no even a hint of new signings , AND does he still think that the kids will fill the gaps, because the results in NSW cup , say other wise .
Just more info for us frustrated supporters that’s all we want

Not a bad start. Two good centres, a couple of decent Pommie forwards and maybe a winger similar to Toupou or Talau and we're right in it.

Let's say we got lucky and landed NAS, Jeral Skelton, Jake Wardle, Jai Whitbread, that's a top eight team for not much money.

Facts eh.

Blore averaged about 7 games per year over four years.

Papali’i is playing this afternoon and next season starts in March.

Bateman was fed up and playing poorly.

He’s not Pascoe, he knows what he’s doing.

I’ve already laid out what I think adequate progress looks like, and called before a ball was kicked this year would be bad.

Simple maths will tell you that we had to make room to fit in Luai on $1.2 million and Turuva on 500K plus. We couldn’t legally play if we had that much space in the cap.

We were in a shit starting place.

Now Stef and Paps and maybe Bateman are gone, the big test of Richo & Benj is who they sign. Broadcasting our intentions would be clownish, like the last crew. 🤡

Did u actually read my post , I don’t want to know who he is signing , I want to here from him sign saying yes we have had contact with 1,2,3 players and things are looking good , no names no positions , just some bloody intro, is that to much to ask from r considering what this club has put its supporters throw

He has publicly backed Benji but if next year doesn’t go well, I think Benji himself will make the big call.

well… it appears you want to give them (Tigers ) a lot more time to improve than most …

it’s not about impatience ..lot of us nobodies here can see that the next season is going to be critical for this team to get out of this decade plus long funk…

What will you say if they have another shit year next year and Galvin leaves ?

Blore hasn’t missed a game since going south , papa yes is going because we wanted him out , Bateman left for whatever reason , but the bloke didn’t miss many tackles . And it’s not about them 3 it’s , just lack of info

Depends how Latu Fainu progresses. If they don’t win 8 games minimum next year I think Benji will come under pressure, or walk away.
