Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I think Montoya would be a good addition. Size to get us out of our own end and a good finisher.
I am interested to know who we have been able to move on for next year.

I would think To'a would gather interest at other clubs pretty easily. And Doueihi on minimum would be easy to move to another club. I can't see how Staines gets in the side without injury at this point. I'd almost be tempted to keep Naden & Faataape as our centre depth.

Sooo much better...

People are starting to understand how important Bula is on this team.. He is young and makes mistakes but is a very solid FB and will come on nest year with better players around him.
Yep, I can 100% admit I underestimated what it would mean to lose Bula. It’s easy to forget how safe he is at the back. Hopefully he grows as a ball player and vocal FB, but yes he is miles ahead of other options

I like the 17 … would probably tweak a couple of things … Klemmer to the bench …Pole to starter ..Klemmer is really just expensive depth now ..Latu needs to be in the 13 each week somewhere …
Mostly agree but reckon Pole needs to fix his defence if he wants to start, and fulfil his potential. Has been found wanting for some time now & I'm wondering if coaching staff has identified this & working with him to improve. That's a bit of a common thread throughout our top 30. Seems to be deficiencies in basic footy skills, etc, that don't appear to be improving.
Agree on Klemmer. We need a genuine no. 1 front rower, with Pole & Hunt providing impact in shorter stints. I hope we're having a serious look at Leo Thompson.

The earliest sign for next season if benji has improved is if his starting prop rotation is 2 different profiles of prop, one big bopper and smaller more mobile prop. That’s the way forward in the modern game. We’ve been playing 2 big boppers all season and while they’ve both been poor, I think it’s hard to survive like that. We went all big and all the mobility was on the bench
