Everyone is on Richo back about this trip overseas and no signings.

We don't have a clue what happened and to be frank why should we. It's him and the club's business and there could be 1000 reasons for this, but we might never know.

This is his 1st off season and after watching the team go this year is in the process of addressing our needs.
He has tapped players on the shoulder and recruited the areas we clearly lack.

This time next year we can sit down and assess him but IMO I fully trust what he is doing.

If we continue to improve our win rate by 50% we make finals in 2026. That’s probably a fair target for the big fella.

To add to that considering we blooded like 12 rookies, had all these sins bins /send offs, Injuries, Suspensions, Benji's 1st year, etc... We still won more games than the last 2 years. (Not saying that's acceptable but a good place to start from.

I heard Richo was still in hospital. Did anyone actually see him at the game?
He sat on the sideline the whole game but i didnt see him blowing up at anyone. After the game he walked over to the other side of the ground and clapped all the fans. He was limping very noticeably.

Thanks for the update

A number of players who didn't feature in the Spoonbowl were spotted laughing in the grandstand at Campbelltown Stadium, which prompted a fiery response from Richardson.

The squad members who were sitting behind the Tigers' bench included Brent Naden, Aidan Sezer, Justin Olam, Jayden Sullivan and Tallyn Da Silva.

Richardson is believed to have told the players to at least pretend to care about the club and forced them to join their teammates in walking around the ground to thank the fans who turned up for a dismal performance.

Sezer will leave the Tigers in the off-season after inking a deal with Hull FC, while fellow playmaker Sullivan has also been linked with a move to the Super League.

This is really bad ☹️

Why?

Good on Richo, i love everything he does. Trying to change the culture.

When you tell players that they are not wanted … you actually better get them to move on quickly …

There are at least 4 players we know of who are in this situation …Im including Bateman, who supposedly is coming back .. a negative clique at the club amongst the playing group, going through the motions and showing up to collect a pay packet each fortnight is the last thing they need this off-season

Really bad that Richo had to do what he did. It shows how deep the mediocrity runs throughout. It shows disrespect for the club and coaches, but more importantly it shows a lack of self respect.
I realise a few in that group wont be with us in 25 and hopefully they were the ones laughing at how useless we are.
if you can’t help laughing, then at least keep it down to a snicker.

Knights had the same thing and are in the finals

This laughing thing is everywhere though. You only have to see how many players hug n joke around with the opposition after being belted to see this is normal behaviour from this generation.

I’m not going to say that they don’t care about the result but I find it difficult to understand personally how you could react like that if you’re that hurt / pissed off / disappointed after a loss.

The Saifitis, Hetherington, Hastings have all gone nowhere so far…

yes … so far …

Two of them are still getting picked in their team at least for the finals.., so they are obviously being moved on for salary cap reasons you would assume
