Only due to injuries.Eiso has made the grand final team, so you have different opinion to a coach going for a four peat of premierships.
He said the new recruitment person (assuming Fulton) came in and said he wasn’t needed and free to leave. Fulton probably thought he was going to get Schuster over the line when he was pushing for it?Shawn Blore just said the Tigers didn't want him, is that true? I thought he wanted to leave for Melbourne
Agree. I reckon he’ll go well up there. If he can’t make the finals with that team he is a very ordinary coach
No one , by the looks of things , there’s only two teams left and I doubt we are getting any players from them . So if we go into next season with this new gun backline and a crap pack of forwards , guess where we will end up ?????Does anyone have any info on the Tigers potential signings or who Richo is in talks with? (other than Kobe)
Yep.Can you comment on the off loads?
Not quite the same circumstances.Didnt Galvin do the same and also request to leave as his pathway seemed blocked?
I reckon he is OK with the decision now.Blore wanted to stay here but the Tigers didn’t want him…
Are sharks just gonna sell off every one of their forwards? Hunt, Williams gone while talks on kafusi and RudolphHas anyone heard Toby Rudolph.
A mate who is a sharks supporter has told me apparently Rudolph will be here in 25.
I'm guessing if true we still have not freed up the roster spots. Hopefully some news at the presentation night next week
We may have had a poor season still, sure.I meant to say that people are writing benji off in regards to the season we've just had but what I'm saying is if we had hired a coach with experience we would still have a poor season
Surely we are not signing the 2 most limited forwards out of a bad sharks packHas anyone heard Toby Rudolph.

Sounds the same to me.Not quite the same circumstances.
Galvin had already been offered a pathway to the halves and signed when we were fielding the most pitiful halves combinations known to man.
We then signed three halves, on long term deals, that (he thought) would not make that possible and questioned what he had been offered.
Large has never been promised a guaranteed spot… only a pathway forward.
He’s the one demanding one particular spot in first grade when he knows there are class players in front of him.
I was told he wanted to leave 2 years ago.Blore wanted to stay here but the Tigers didn’t want him…
Don't understand the hate for Twal his defence is good and he's improved with the ball even offloads sometimes much prefer him to Klemmer .Reported at the time of Newcastle moving him on was that his game was more about
getting his numbers than winning the contest....
To the point it was discussed on TV.
Seems he's still got some super coaches fooled.
I have no real problem having Twal, Klemmer or Seyfarth in the 17....
I don't really rate any of them as a top line player - But I can wear one of them in our best 17 no problem.
Having to wear the whole 3 of them plodding along out there - is infuriating.
Even more so, because we get to buy and choose from 36 Players
- And they're the best we can come up with in the same position.
I find it hard to beleive its not like this at all clubs (blokes pukeing). I played some junior reps and the training was a killer. That was probably 20 years ago now, and they are fitter these days. It's why I can't believe Royce Hunt is as unfit as he isMy mates son , played at the storm last before moving to the panthers this year , when I asked him what was the difference in training between the two , he said the storm was harder running wise , but the panthers drills where a lot harder , he said both made many throw up and they were spent every session. Can we send both clubs a request for there pre season play book
Post more often.Clubs like Penrith and Melbourne have developed their identities over years, with stable coaching and clear philosophies that the players can adapt to and thrive under. Benji's methods don’t fully account for the context he’s stepped into, so certain critiques of him (and our pathways) are probably a little premature given the lack of continuity. While it’s reasonable to compare us to benchmark teams, it’s a bit unfair to overlook the foundational work done by their coaching staff. For instance, John Donehue (Melbourne's wrestling coach) has been with them since 2004, just a year after Bellamy's appointment, and the Penrith Panthers junior academy has been in place since 2016. These long-term commitments to coaching and development are key to their success, something the Tigers are still striving to establish.
As Benji builds his own roster and implements his vision, some judgments should probably be reserved until there’s more time to assess how he can shape the team and its culture. Feel it’s also important to recognise that the dynamics and ages of our current roster will largely influence how he manages them, both psychologically and physically. With several 18 year olds, building confidence and trust are likely his main goals as he’s trying to foster an environment that supports their development.
Kaufusi vs Klemmer- yes, tackle breaks & offloads are way different. But it's what we lack? All basics being roughly equal he beats Klemmer by a country mile in tackle breaks and off loads. That's is precisely what we desperately lack.
