I think the May signing was a bit of game changer. That’s the first time I thought “Players are actually wanting to come here”. Shows what having a world class half can do for you. The odds of Galvin re-signing have shortened dramatically imo.

Luai did say himself at his press release gig that our offer wasn’t the best financially to what we offered.

Luai & Api I have no doubts have played an important recruiting role but to say Benji hasn’t been influential in the recruiting is a joke.

It’s clear he is selling the vision and he is getting players buying into it.

Now lets hope he can coach these guys outside of being a salesman.

He is still a work in progress, especially in defence, but he has some good aggro and go forward mixed with late footwork at the line that will really get defences second guessing when the likes of Bula and Luai learn to follow him. Very happy to keep him onboard 👌👍

His footwork around the ruck is first rate .his Ability to get the opposition jersey grabbing and lose the ascendancy in the tackle is something else . But like you said , he really does clock off in defence. He just needs to be engaged the whole time he’s on the field . Hopefully his fitness levels will improve this offseason to make that leap.
