OFFICIAL Jarome Luai - #295

The picture of Luai, Turuva, Api and Naden running together makes me wonder if Naden's motivation, drive, mood and attitude has changed with more of his former Penrith team mates arriving (Terrell May as well). Could be a real motivation for him to get back into the frame for the NRL team.
Whatever it takes... To get his head right and minimise or delete the brainsnaps.
He can be damaging at his best... Hoping Luai can knock some sense into him

What’s with all of the love for Naden all of a sudden?
Nah it’s not that . He’s never on , so it’s a bit of a redundant argument .
I was going to write a second paragraph about how when he retires he is going to have massive regrets, because of how much he wasted his talent . But yea , he still had talent . He’s just too busy doing dirty shit on the sidelines for it to ever be shown consistently .
I was soo angry with him that day haha .

It's not love for Naden, it's more to do with the fact that you mentioned he doesnt have talent when he clearly has an abundance of natural talent and that is not his issue. His problem is that he doesn't have the right attitude and put it to good use which is why he hasn't been a success at a first grade level.

I’ll put it differently then. He’s way down the packing order in terms of a first grade spot. He’d be 2 or 3 injuries away.

Re Naden - we are one club that he has an small window to cement a position if he can regulate his emotions and reactions. He can run and he can tackle just needs to switch on mentally and who knows it's not beyond him to play FG.

Doesn’t really matter. At the end of the day, it’s ability that counts. And he doesn’t have enough of it.
That is just incorrect.
Naden has natural ability in buckets? 🪣
Not mentally there though. He just does the dumbest things in between the glimpses good. 🤯

Edit: I can’t see him changing his brain anytime soon and needs to go asap.

If it true and it is just a mental thing, he’s had 10 years to work on it. I don’t see him suddenly overcoming it now. He’s 28 and only played 72 first grade games. There are certain players who have played 3 times that amount of games and are considered by some as reserve graders.

I agree with you on this.

He absolutely has ability he just comes across as taking the easy options with what he does & his brainsnaps are always costly which is why I never wanted him at the club.

Thats always been the issue. Most fans just see the flash and because we have struggled mixed with no other options they hope it will change.

He is 29 if he clicks now great but the odds are well against him.

Luai has the mindset that this club has been searching for.
He'll immortalize himself if we win a comp. Playing 2nd banana at Penrith was beneath him.
He wasn’t second fiddle there. He had a specific role to play based upon skill set and he mostly did it very well. As did they all, including Nathan.
