Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Understandable. Shame Olam has been injured or suspended so much.

Certainly don't blame them for giving him a try - the squad is desperately short of good quality centres and imo (when playing) he is far and away the best they have.

I hope it's not too serious, but if so I'd pick To'a and Naden. Could also have a lame Bird (duck to be precise) in the mix for a nice feeling of continuity.

Could also look to Suruva?

Gawd...dire.

I have seen Naden play well, but he is so inconsistent and when he is bad he is REALLY bad.

P.S., No, I didn't forget Doueihi....
Don't know about Bird at centre doubt there is enough pace left for that position, notice Flanno wouldn't play him there.

The TDS to Dogs talk worries me.
They wouldn't be shopping Reed Mahoney if they didn't have something lined up.
It seems really weird to me.

TDS has been decent with us. Reed has been great for the dogs.

Unsure why you would shuffle TDS in to punt a known performer, also unsure why TDS would not want to be behind Api here as clearly Api is a standout hooker. ... But maybe he wants first grade exp.

Would be a shame to loose him after having him around for so long. Yet we haven't swapped him in/out with Api, and out of all the players getting first grade time... TDS deserved some.

Just can't think of many immediate options...

If he is injury free, he knows the position and personally I think a more 'solid' centre could complement To'a and (hopefully) be good defensively.

I can't say how he'd go at centre definitively, but I do remember watching him in a game last year that changed my mind and made me think he could be a good signing.

Dont think too hard. You are not getting paid for this.
