$30 Million boost for Campbelltown Stadium Centre of Excellence.

Looks like a new stand/facilities behind southern goal posts.
NO change to existing stands [east - west sides] or northern end.
Hopefully just the start of a rebuild? Wet the appetite?
It's the Northern end where the COE & incorporated stand will be,(as stated) they would have to demolish the leagues club to build it on the Southern end

Putting this at the northern end is a smart move, with the leagues club at the south and the newish tennis club at the north. Two decent spots at either end of the ground for a pre or post game drink and feed.

They say the northern end but the aerial image shows it at the southern end, existing stands left and right unchanged. But they did mention moving the scoreboard which is on the north hill.

Never had the sun in your eyes?

I've been to Campbelltown Stadium numerous times. I've always sat at either the Western side or the Northern end to avoid getting too much of the sun in my eyes or getting my face burnt. It's mainly the people on the Eastern side that get affected by the sun in their faces.

At some point during the day you are going to get some glare unless you are well and truly covered by the old Western stand.

I'll actually miss the Northern Hill when it's gone. It's always been great to spread out a picnic blanket (or even just sit) on the grass rather than get a sore arse sitting on the aluminium bench strip seating or the uncomfortable plastic seating on the concourse.

Mayor of Campbelltown Darcy Lound ·

It was great to unveil the new change rooms at Campbelltown Sports Stadium today.
The new facilities feature upgraded and personalised player locker room fit-outs, integrated Wests Tigers and Macarthur FC team branding, and custom-built strapping benches.
This investment forms part of our ongoing planned upgrades to Campbelltown Sports Stadium and reflects our commitment to creating a vibrant, active city and delivering infrastructure that our community can be proud of for your years to come.

Have you guys driven around lumeah recently ? I haven’t been here for a while , but there’s tigers on the street signs around the stadium , advertising all over the place .
they’re trying to make it obviously tiger town . I haven’t been here since last year . But man it’s very much obvious they’re trying to own this area as Wests Tigers . It’s really good to see . Richo and more importantly Shaun have already in 2 years got the council and local wests involved , and made them feel important enough to invest . It’s only small things . But it seems like the area is going all in .Come on Sunday .. Letssss goooo !
